10 Days Uganda Wildlife Uganda Safari tour : This 10 Days wildlife, primates and cultural safari covers part of Uganda’s national parks including, Queen Elizabeth national park, Bwindi impenetrable national park, Lake Mburo national park and Mgahinga national park. Bwindi Impenetrable national park is one of Uganda’s oldest national park with diverse rainforest of over 25,000 years ago and contains about 400 plant species. Bwindi Impenetrable national park inhabits half of the remaining endangered mountain gorillas in the world and it is divided into 4 sectors including; Buhoma sector which is the oldest trekking sector, Rushaga sector which has the largest number of gorilla families, Ruhija sector and finally Nkuringo sector. Queen Elizabeth national park is located in the western part of Uganda offering the great experience of different Antelope species. Queen Elizabeth national park is home to the tree climbing lions in Uganda. The park is occupied by 2 great lakes – Lake Edward and Lake George which meet at a channel commonly known as the Kazinga channel. Queen Elizabeth national park has plenty of animals and other experiences to be enjoy while on your stay in Uganda ranging from wildlife, culture, boat cruise to nature walks for bird watching and chimpanzee trekking. Lake Mburo national park which smallest savannah national park with most of the antelope species and also one of the best birding destinations in Uganda. Finally end your safari at Mabamba wetlands, located around the shores of Lake Victoria is one of the best birding sites in Uganda that offers visitors an excellent birding experience and an encounter with different bird species. This site is also one of the few places in Uganda where there are higher chances to encounter the rare shoebill stork.

Detailed safari
Day 1: Arrival and transfer to your Hotel
Upon arrival at Entebbe airport, you will meet our company representative/guide who will be waiting to receive you and transfer your reserved hotel for overnight stay Fairway Hotel for mid-range/Forest Cottages for a budget option
Day 2: Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park – Kisoro (8-9 hours’ drive)
After breakfast, you will be met by our company representative who will also be your safari guide throughout the trip. Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park with en-route stops at the Equator and in Mbarara town. On reaching, Kisoro town in the evening, proceed to your accommodation. Check-in, refresh as you wait for dinner and overnight rest at Rushaga Gorilla Haven Lodge for budget/Ichumbi Gorilla lodge for mid-range option.
Day 3: Gorilla trekking experience
Wake up early, have breakfast, and connect to the forest with your packed food and water. The briefing from the park warden about the gorillas starts at 8 am where your will be guided on highlights about the way of life of the gorillas you will be tracking. The hike can take anything from 2-8 hours. Once you reach the gorillas, you are allowed to spend one hour with them as you stand 6 meters away. Return to the lodge to unwind and dinner and overnight stay as above.
Day 4: Golden Monkey tracking – Mgahinga national park
After breakfast, you will return to the park headquarters in Mgahinga National Park for briefing about the Golden monkeys with your trekking gears. After briefing, your ranger guides will lead you into the forest to search for the Golden monkeys. On finding them, spend an hour viewing them while taking pictures and videos. After trekking, have lunch in Kisoro town then proceed to Kabale district where you will connect to Lake Bunyonyi. This is the deepest lake in East Africa and its Bilharzia from for human to use the water for different activities. Day 5: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park – evening game drive
After breakfast, check-out of the lodge and embark on your 4-5 hours journey to Queen Elizabeth national park. Reach Queen Elizabeth national park via Ishasha sector for chances of seeing the tree climbing lions and an evening game drive in Kasenyi area. Day 6: Lion tracking/morning game drive and boat cruise along the Kazinga channel
After breakfast early morning, go for a lion tracking experience where you are guaranteed to view the lions, enjoy an en-route game drive at the Kisenyi area where you will spot a good number of wildlife including Elephants, Buffaloes, and all species of antelopes.
After lunch, proceed for a boat cruise along the Kazinga channel. The boat cruise takes about 2-3 hours for animals like elephants, Hippos, buffaloes, crocodiles. Later evening, connect for an evening game drive in the Kasenyi area. Dinner and overnight stay at lodge as above
Day 7: Chimpanzee/primate tracking Kalinzu forest reserve – Transfer to Lake Mburo national park
After early morning breakfast, you will depart for Chimpanzee tracking in Kalizu forest reserve with your tracking gears. The walk in the forest in search of the chimpanzee generally takes around 2‐5 hours. Spend an hour with the chimpanzees, and then proceed to Queen Elizabeth national park. It’s a 3 hours’ drive from Kalinzu with en-route lunch. Check-in at your reserved lodge in Lake Mburo national park. Dinner and overnight stay at Rwakobo Rock lodge for mid-range/Mihingo lodge for luxury
Day 8: Morning game drive – boat trip on Lake Mburo and walking safari
After breakfast, connect for a morning game drive for the early risers on a good day you may spot the lions and the leopards. Other animals include; Zebras, Impalas, Giraffes, Uganda Kobs to mention a few. Return to the lodge for lunch.
Later afternoon, enjoy an afternoon boat trip on the lake for different animals and birds. You will conduct an walking safari, this is similar to a game drive except that you will be viewing wildlife on foot, encounter animals like the Zebras, impalas, elephants to mention a few. Return to the lodge in the evening to prepare for dinner at the lodge as above.
Day 9: Transfer to Entebbe – Mabamba swamp walk
After having breakfast, embark on your journey back to Entebbe. It’s a 4-5 hours’ with en-route lunch and thereafter set off for birding at Mabamba wetlands. You will take a canoe ride at Mabamba where you will get closer to different bird species that reside here. You may also see the rare shoebill stork. Later in the evening, you will return to your hotel for an overnight stay at Best Western Garden Hotel/ViaVia Guesthouse/Protea Hotel Entebbe
Day 10: Departure
On the last day of 10 Days Uganda Wildlife Uganda Safari tour ,After breakfast at the hotel and depending on your flight scheduled, you will be dropped off at the Entebbe international airport for your departure flight back home. End of tour.
