Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park
On day 1 of the 3 Days Uganda Gorilla Trekking Tour from Kigali, upon your arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will be picked up by a company representative driver-guide who will brief you about the safari. You then start the journey to Bwindi impenetrable national park passing through the Cyanika border in Kisoro which takes a 4 to 5-hour drive. On the way, you will be amazed about the great views of rolling hills in Rwanda, terraced farmlands, beautiful scenery many more. Upon arrival in the park, you will check into the lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Ichumbi Gorilla Lodge – Mid-range, Buhoma Community camp – Budget

Day 2: Gorilla trekking and Batwa community visit
After an early breakfast, you will check out of the lodge with your packed lunch boxes from the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing about the gorilla trekking rules to follow during trekking. After the briefing, you will start trekking in the park which takes about 30 minutes to 6 hours depending on where the gorillas are found because they like to move from one place to another looking food of food. During trekking, you will be able to view other primate species, different plant species, birds many more. On finding the mountain gorillas, you will be allowed to spend one hour with them in their natural habitat which gives you an opportunity to watch their habits, and behaviors, watch gorillas feed, breastfeed, groom young ones, take photos, and record the breathtaking moments.
After the one-hour encounter with the gentle giants, you will trek back to the starting point, where you will be rewarded a certificate for participating in gorilla trekking then meet up with your driver guide and drive you back to relax at the lodge and you prepare for a community visit among the Batwa People in the evening. After, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay as above.

Day 3: Depart back to Kigali/Airport
On the last day of the 3 Days Uganda Gorilla Trekking Tour from Kigali, after a relaxed breakfast, leisure at the lodge with early lunch. Then after, drive back to Kigali. On the way you will enjoy spectacular views of the Kigali hills, countryside, and terraced farmlands, and upon arrival in Kigali your driver guide will drop you off at Kigali international airport for your onward flight or drop you off at your Hotel in Kigali depending on your schedule.
