Activities to do while at the lodge;
Gorilla Trekking Experience
Gorilla trekking is an ultimate experience, that starts early in the morning after breakfast with a short briefing about dos and don’ts of gorilla trekking while in the jungle. After briefing, meet up a park ranger who leads you to assigned gorilla group to search for gorillas. The activity may take 30 to 7 hours depending on their movements. Once are located one hour is given to spend with them as you learn about they play, feed, care for their babies and so rewarding to sight see the silverback. The one hour is also inclusive with taking memorable photography. In Bwindi Gorilla trekking can be conducted in Buhoma, Ruhija and Nkuringo gorilla sector.
Gorilla Habituation
Gorilla habituation experience is a whole day activity conducted in Rushaga sector. It starts early in the morning after briefing head out into the jungle and once you find them four hours are given to you to spend with them.
Birding
While on safari to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, you can boost into bird watching and be able to watch variety of Albertine bird species such as Neumann’s warbler, purple-breasted sunbird, Ruwenzori apalis, Mountain masked apalis, Handsome francolin, Blue-headed sunbird, Black-faced warbler, African broadbill, Regal sunbirds, Yellow streaked greenbul, Shelley’s crimson wing ,western green tinker bird ,olive breasted greenbul among others.

However, being one of the accommodations found in Bwindi, Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park a home to the remaining mountain gorillas in the world with over 600 individuals and others species which call Bwindi their homes. The park is located in southwestern region of Uganda, approximately 8 to 9hours drive to access the main visited destination.
