All visitors will be required to present valid identification documents to confirm resident status and covid-19 vaccination card. A day’s entrance ticket to Mgahinga gorilla national park is valid for twenty four hours from the time of entrance and extra time spent in the park after 24 hours will be charged as an extra day. Children are persons aged between 5 to 15 years and persons below 5 years are exempt.

Annual park entrance passes
Annual park entrance passes to Mgahinga gorilla national park apply to foreign residents in Uganda and East African citizens only and vehicle entrance is paid separately. Vehicle entry fees
Vehicle entry fees are charged per 24 hours except for concessionaire visitor vehicles who will pay once per trip in the park, motorcycles, trailers, vehicles with inflammable goods, livestock, produce, poles, timber, sand and market merchandise are prohibited in Mgahinga gorilla national park unless delivering a service within the park.

Glinders, microlights for foreign residents is charged 10 USD per landing and 20,000 UGX for East African citizens.
Up to 3 seater aircraft for foreign residents is charged 20 USD per landing and 40,000 UGX for East African citizens.
4 to 6 seater aircraft for foreign residents is charged 30 USD per landing and 60,000 UGX for East African citizens.
7 to 14 seater aircraft for foreign residents is charged 40 USD per landing and 80,000 UGX for East African citizens
15 to 20 seater aircraft for foreign residents is charged 50 USD per landing and 100,000 UGX for East African citizens.
21 seats and above aircraft for foreign residents is charged 60 USD per landing and 120,000 UGX for East African citizens.
Helicopter for foreign residents is charged 125 USD per landing and 250 UGX for East African citizens.
Parking fees per day is 10,000 UGX, landing fees exclude entry fees payable by passengers and pilots en-route do not pay entry fees if they spend less than 2 hours in the park.
