Day 1: Pick up and Transfer to Nyungwe National Park – Canopy Walk
Start the travelling journey from Kigali after breakfast for the drive to Nyungwe Forest National Park. You will arrive midday, check into your lodge, and have lunch.
Afternoon: Embark on the Uwinka Visitors Centre for a briefing before the canopy walk experience. Engage in a guided walk on the Igishigishi trail leading to the canopy walkway for aerial views of the forest. Return in the evening to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Chimpanzee Trekking and Departure
Start the day early with a yummy breakfast before heading to the park’s briefing point for chimpanzee trekking. After a short briefing, head on the chimpanzee trek, which can take time as you follow the chimpanzees through the forest. On finding them, you will spend up to one hour watching them in their natural habitat.
After the trek, connect to your lodge to check out. Enjoy lunch at a restaurant en route back to Kigali. Arrive back in Kigali in the late afternoon or evening to be dropped off at your convenient place.
