Explore the great gorillas of Rwanda in a 3 days Rwanda gorilla safari and later immersing yourself in the culture of the Rwanda people in a visit the Ibyiwacu cultural village. In Rwanda, gorilla trekking is conducted in Volcanoes Rwanda national park, it offers a perfect habitat for the thriving of mountain gorillas. Volcanoes national park is part of the greater virunga area that is share by Rwanda, Congo and Uganda.

Day 1: Depart Kigali to Volcanoes National park
Following your 3 day Rwanda gorilla safari, depending on the agreed pick up point, our safari guide will pick and you will embark on a Kigali city tour seeing some of the most iconic features that makes Kigali such an amazing city. Some of the places you will visit include the Kigali genocide memorial, the local crafts shops where you could possibly pick up some souvenirs to remind you of the Kigali. Later you will have and lunch and proceed to Volcanoes national park. Arrive and check in at you lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2 : Volcanoes Gorilla trekking.
Wake up in the morning to another yet charming day as your mind will be tuned to one activity which is gorilla trekking. Have your breakfasts and be dropped at the briefing point. While at the briefing point you will be treated to a cup of the Rwanda coffee as the officials tell you about the dos and don’ts involved in gorillas trekking, some which may include not taking a flash photos at the gorillas, as it could possible ignite them to charge on you. Be assigned the gorilla family to track from as well Rangers to a company you to the jungles. Delve into the jungle with no other mission but to encounter the great mountain gorillas. The search for the gorillas could possible take between 50 minutes to 6 hours depending on the movements of the gorilla family you have been assigned to track from. Upon meeting them, you will be allowed to spend a maximum of 1 hour with them , a session of interaction with the great primates. Later after the trek retire to your place of accommodation for lunch and if possible you can opt to visit musanze graves or take a tour to the twin lakes. Dinner and overnight the lodge.
Day 3: Cultural tour at Ibyiwacu.
Early in the morning you will have breakfast and head straight to ibyiwacu cultural village, the village visit is a bonus to the gorilla trekking had previously. Get immersed in rich and diverse culture of the Rwanda people. There you will be demonstrated to about the Rwanda culture, how marriage is conducted, preparation of the meals , cultural dances an many more. The cultural village is also a center for conservation awareness as it has granted alternative activities to the former poachers and it trains them on how to live without poaching as well as supporting them.

Later you will depart Ibyiwacu and head straight to Kigali, be dropped at the place of your choice be dropped at the airport.
