Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Murchison Falls

Upon arrival at Entebbe Airport, you will be picked up by our company representative/ driver who will drive you to Murchison Falls National Park, en route to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary 3 hour’s drive from Kampala for Rhino tracking.

 After the Rhino tracking, you will have lunch then transfer to Murchison Falls National Park, and upon arrival, you will drive to the top of the falls where you will enjoy marvelous views of the waterfall. From the top of the falls, connect to your lodge to rest.  Dinner and overnight stay at  Pakuba Safari Lodge for mid-range

Day 2: Game drive and launch cruise in Murchison Falls National Park

Early morning breakfast and then embark on a morning game drive at the delta where you may explore various animal species like elephants, giraffes, lions, and Uganda kobs among others. Return and have lunch, then you will head for a launch cruise at the bottom of the Murchison Falls along River Nile, enjoy streaming views of hippo and serried ranges of crocodiles along the sandbanks, as well as large herds of elephants which can be watched drinking and bathe.

After the boat cruise at the bottom of the falls, you will hike up the top of the falls where you will be picked up by your driver to return to your lodge. Dinner and overnight at lodge as the above.

Day 3: Transfer to Fort Portal

You will have breakfast and embark on your whole day drive to the beautiful town of Fort Portal on the way you will have en-route lunch, stopovers to take memorable photographs, stretch your legs, and enjoy impressive views of the beautiful scenery, Rwenzori mountain ranges, Lake George, crater lakes, tea plantations many others. Upon arrival, connect to your lodge. Dinner and overnight stay at Fort Motel

Day 4: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park, Game drive, and Boat cruise 

After breakfast early morning you will check out of the hotel and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Upon arrival, you will embark on a morning game drive at the Kisenyi area where you will adventure a perfect number of wildlife including Elephants, Buffaloes, bushbucks, waterbucks, and all species of antelopes. After the game drive, you will connect to the lodge for lunch.

After enjoying your lunch at the lodge, embark on your impressive boat trip along the Kazinga channel for yet another wildlife/birding experience as you cruise on Lake Edward/George.  Have dinner and overnight stay at Elephant Hab Lodge for mid-range

 Day 5: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

On day 5 of the 8 Days Uganda Gorilla Trekking, Wildlife Safari, after your aroma coffee or tea served with tasty snacks, you will be driven out of the park and connect to Bwindi impenetrable forest national park (home of the world’s remaining Mountain Gorillas that still exist). On the way, you will have a stopover in the Ishasha sector where you will be able to view the unique tree-climbing lions in acacia or fig tree branches if you are lucky, and then continue the journey to Bwindi impenetrable national park.  Dinner and overnight at Buhoma Haven Lodge for mid-range

Day 6: Gorilla trekking experience/Batwa cultural tour

Wake up early, have breakfast, and connect to the park headquarters with your packed food with enough bottled mineral water. The briefing, meet up with the park ranger guide to lead you into forest trails to look for your assigned gorilla family. The hike can take about 30 minutes to 8 hours. Once you reach the gorilla family, you will be allowed to spend an hour with them as you stand 7 meters away from them. After gorilla trekking, hike back to the park headquarters to be rewarded with your gorilla certificate, and then go meet up with your driver guide to drive back to the lodge for relaxation.

Later in the evening, go for a Batwa cultural tour to enjoy the entertainment of this unique culture.  Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay as above.

Day 7:  Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park

Have breakfast, followed by check out of the lodge and meet up with your guide to transfer to Lake Mburo National Park. On the way, you will have a stopover in Lake Bunyonyi in Kabale where you will enjoy stunning views of the lake, beautiful scenery, landscape many others, and then proceed with en-route lunch. Upon arrival in the park, you will check into the lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Arcadia lodge-midrange

Day 8: Morning game drive and departure to Kampala

On the last day of the safari, you will have an early breakfast, check out of the lodge, and meet up with your guide to head for a short morning game drive in the park where you will be able to spot animals like zebras, warthogs, giant forest hogs, waterbucks, impala, giraffes among other. After the game drive, you will go for an optional boat cruise where you will be able to sightsee water species like hippos and crocodiles, view animals along the shores many more. After the boat cruise, you will drive out of the park and transfer back to Kampala with en-route lunch and a stopover at the equator in Kayabwe where you will take memorable photos, buy craft items, and others. Then proceed with the journey to Kampala. Arrive in the evening and your driver guide will drop you off at any place of convenience or at Entebbe International Airport for your next flight
