Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Murchison Falls – Rhino tracking and top of the falls visit
On day 1 of the 8 Days Uganda Safari Holiday, upon arrival, you will be picked up by our company representative/ driver who will transfer you to Murchison Falls National Park with en route to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary 2-3 hour drive for a Rhino trekking experience.
After the experience, you will have lunch then proceed to Murchison Falls National Park entering through the main gate ‘’Kichumbanyobo gate’’ from Masindi town. Drive directly to the top of the falls for rewarding views of the world’s most powerful waterfall. Arrive in the lodge in the evening, check in for dinner, and overnight.

Day 2: Morning Game drive and launch cruise
On day 2 of the 8 Days Uganda Safari Holiday, you will have a good morning breakfast and then head for a morning game drive at the delta where you will spot various animal species such as elephants, giraffes, lions, Uganda kobs many more.
Return and have lunch then at 2 pm, you will go for a launch cruise at the bottom of the Murchison Falls along River Nile, enjoy amazing views of hippos and serried ranges of crocodiles along the sandbanks, as well as a wide number of different species getting down to drink & bathe. After the boat cruise at the bottom of the Murchison Falls, you will be picked up by your driver to drive back to your lodge. Dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Transfer to Kibale National Park – Bigodi swamp walk
After having breakfast, head on your drive to Kibale Forest National Park- the perfect safari destination in Africa for chimpanzee tracking experience. Arrive in Fort Portal town at a good time for picnic lunch, then head out for a nature walk at Bigodi swamp for about 2 hours, and thereafter, drive to your booked lodge. Dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Chimpanzee trekking – Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, you will go for chimpanzee trekking with your packed food boxes and enough mineral water bottles. Drive to the meeting point for the briefing. After the briefing, go meet your guide at the head office then enter the rainforest in search of chimpanzees. The tracking experience takes between 2-5 hours depending on their location. On finding them, you will be allowed an hour to spend with the chimpanzees as you watch their behaviors, and habits as well as take memorable photography.
After tracking, head on a 3-hour drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park from Fort Portal with en-route lunch. Arrive check-in, for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Morning game drive and Boat cruise
Have breakfast early morning, then go for an early morning game drive at the Kisenyi area a great place within park to watch a good number of wildlife including Elephants, Buffaloes, and all species of antelopes among others
After enjoying your lunch at the lodge, go for your boat trip along the Kazinga channel for yet another wildlife/birding site as you cruise on Lake Edward/George. Dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
You will wake up have breakfast, and drive out of the park to proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park (home to the world’s half-remaining Mountain Gorillas). Dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Gorilla trekking experience.
Wake up early, have breakfast, and connect to the forest with your packed food and water. Upon arrival at the headquarters, will be briefed about gorilla trekking dos and don’ts. After, you will be accompanied by the park ranger to search for chimpanzees in their natural habitat. Gorilla trekking experience can take about 30 minutes to 7 hours depending on their movements. Once you allocate the gorillas, you are allowed to spend one hour with them as you stand 7 meters away from the gorillas. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 8: Return to Kampala/Entebbe (8-9 hours’ drive) – Departure
On your last day of 8 days Uganda Safari Tour, have a relaxed breakfast, then after check out of the lodge and say farewell to the park. Drive back to Kampala/Entebbe with en-route lunch in Mbarara town and the Equator to have a water experiment as well as enjoy photo shoot at the equator.
Arrive in Kampala/Entebbe late afternoon and either be dropped off at a hotel or to any place advised.
