Detailed itinerary for the safari

DAY 1: TRANSFER TO QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK 

Your safari driver a representative from achieve global safaris will pick you up depending on your location either in Kampala or Entebbe and he will inform you about the day’s activities, then you will embark on your journey to queen Elizabeth national park. You will make a stopover in mbarara for lunch then continue with the journey, you will reach in the park in afternoon like at 3-4 pm. When you will reach in the park you will go visit lake Katwe and witness how salt making, from lake Katwe you will go straight to  your lodges, check in, have dinner and sleep.

DAY 2: GAME DRIVE AND BOAT CRUISE

You will wake up early for morning breakfast, then you will drive to the park for early morning game drive where you will encounter many wildlife such as elephants, buffaloes, Uganda kobs, wild pigs and many more. Then you will have lunch and rest, at exactly 2 pm you are supposed to be on the boat for an afternoon boat cruise where you will enjoy the breeze of the kazinga channel while viewing crocodiles, buffaloes and water birds like cheeky bronze-tailed starling, majestic crowned crane. After the boat cruise you will go back to your lodges, have dinner and sleep.

 Day 3: chimpanzee trekking and transfer back to Kampala

You will wake up early in the morning for breakfast then head to the park’s headquarters and gather for lion experience, with a help of a ranger you will branch off from the game drive trails and get in to the area where lions are seen. This activity will take 2-3 hours. After the experience you will get out of the park and embark on your journey to Kampala, on your way you will make a stopover in mbarara for lunch. Your stopover will be either in Kampala or Entebbe marking the end of the Uganda safari.
