3 days lake Mburo safari, Lake Mburo national park one of the smallest national parks in Uganda is located in kiruhura district in western Uganda, Lake Mburo national park stretching through the area of 260 square kilometers is a home to the largest population of zebras in Uganda. This park is one of the wonderful national parks in Uganda offering the breathtaking horseback riding as you tour the park.
On a 3 days safari you participate in activities like horseback riding, game viewing, boat cruise and many more as you encounter animals like zebra, impala, eland, buffalo, Oribi, Defassa waterbuck, leopard, hippo, hyena, topi and reedbuck through the savanna dotted fields.

Day 1: transfer to Lake Mburo national park and evening boat cruise
Your safari guide from achieve global safaris will pick you up from your location either in Kampala or Entebbe, he will brief you the safari and the activities involved then start your journey to lake Mburo national park via Kampala-Mbarara route. You will make a stopover in kayabwe at the equator landmark for picture, then another stopover for lunch in Mbarara and proceed to the park. You are expected to reach the park in the afternoon, in the park you will a community walk involving a visit to Mpambire royal drum makers where you get to see how local drums are made out of trees and animal hides and skin. After the visit you will check into your lodges, have dinner and sleep.

Day 2: morning game drive and afternoon fishing
You will wake up early in the morning for early morning breakfast then drive to the park for a morning game drive at which starts at exactly 8: am, on the game drive you will see a number of animals like lions, zebras, herds of buffaloes, impalas and many more. After the game drive you will go for lunch and in the afternoon you will go for an afternoon boat cruise which starts at 2:00 pm for 2 hours on the calm lakes of Lake Mburo, while on the boat cruise you will encounter water birds such as African fish eagle and the rare African fin foot. After the boat cruise you will go back to your lodge have dinner and sleep.
Day 3: horseback riding and transfer to Kampala
On this last day of your safari you will wake up early for a morning horseback riding, on the horseback riding through the short savannah grass of the park. You will enjoy the scenic view of rolling hills and various animals like elephants, buffaloes, impalas and many more. Horseback riding gives you a chance to get closer to the animals, after the activity you will embark on your journey back to Kampala. You will have lunch in Kampala and drop off will be either in Kampala or Entebbe which marks the end of your safari.
