The 4 days fly-in gorilla habituation tour is an exciting luxury safari that will take you to Bwindi impenetrable national park in the southwestern part of Uganda, where you will be able to engage in a gorilla habituation experience, which gives you an opportunity to spend four hours with the mountain gorillas. During the safari, you will also engage in other activities like the guided nature walk and Batwa cultural tour, where you will interact with the local people in the neighboring communities.

Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Fly to Bwindi impenetrable national park
Depending on your location on the first day of the safari, you will connect to Entebbe international airport for your domestic flight to Kisoro airstrip. The scheduled flights depart from Entebbe international airport at 7:00am and 10:30am, arriving at Kisoro airstrip at 8:15am and 11:45am, respectively.
Upon arrival at the airstrip, you will be welcomed by our driver guide and then transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park which takes about 2 hours to drive to, and upon arrival, connect to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Gorilla habituation experience
After an early breakfast on the second day of the safari, your driver guide will pick you up from the lodge with your lunch box to go for a gorilla habituation briefing. After the briefing, you will start trekking in the jungle with an experienced park guide and park rangers who are well conversant with trekking trails.
Gorilla habituation experience takes a whole day and during trekking, you will be able to view different bird species, mammals, and primates, among others. Once the gorilla family is located, you will be allowed to spend four hours with them in their habitat, where you will engage in the naming process, watch them feed, breastfeed, take photos and record videos. After the encounter with the mountain gorillas, you will return to the lodge for an evening of relaxation, dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Guided nature walk and Batwa cultural tour
After breakfast on the third day of the safari, you will meet up with your driver guide to go for a guided nature walk in the park, where you will get up close and personal with different wildlife species, spot and listen to the sweet sounds of birds singing in trees, enjoy the cool and quiet environment, and take beautiful pictures, among other things.
After the nature walk, you will return to the lodge for lunch, whereafter you will go for an amazing Batwa cultural tour in the neighboring community. During the cultural tour, you will be able to learn about their culture, history, and way of living; visit their homesteads; listen to their ancient stories; and enjoy their traditional songs and Dances among other things. Later return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Fly back to Entebbe
On the last day of the safari, you will have an early breakfast, check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to transfer to Kisoro airstrip for your domestic flight to Entebbe airport, which departs at 8:35am and 12:05pm, arriving at around 11:25am and 2:25pm, respectively.
