Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Fly from Entebbe airport and transfer to Kihihi airstrip
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport on the first day of your 4 Days Fly in Gorilla Trekking Safari, you will connect for your domestic flight to Kihihi airstrip. There are various scheduled flights to Bwindi impenetrable national park which depart at 7:00am, 10:15am and 12:00. Upon arrival at Kihihi airstrip you will meet up by safari drive guide waiting to transfer you to your booked accommodation for refreshment and lunch.
After lunch you will spend the rest of the day at leisure, dinner and overnight stay Mahogany Springs Lodge –Luxury, Buhoma Haven Lodge –Midrange, Buhoma Community Rest Camp – Budget

Day 2: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi national park and transfer to Mgahinga national park
After an early breakfast, you will carry packed lunch from the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to transfer to the meeting point for a gorilla trekking briefing. After the briefing you will start trekking in the jungle. The trekking can take about 30 minutes to 6 hours depending on their movement. During trekking you will enjoy to sight see other primates, animals, birds, different plant and tree species among others. Once the mountain gorillas are located you will be allowed to spend one hour with them in their natural habitat as you enjoy to observe their habits, lifestyle, behaviors, watch them feed, play, breastfeed, groom young ones, take photos and record videos to show people back home after the safari.
After a great encounter with the mountain gorillas you will trek back to the starting point where you will be awarded a certificate for participating in gorilla trekking and later meet up with your driver guide to drive you to Mgahinga gorilla national park in Kisoro district. Arrive, check into the lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Lake Chahafi resort-midrange/ Travelers rest camp-budget.

Day 3: Golden monkey trekking in Mgahinga Gorilla National Park
After an early breakfast on the third day of the 4 Days Fly in Gorilla Trekking Safari, you will transfer to the meeting point for Golden monkey trekking briefing. After the briefing you will start trekking in the forest in search of the most active primates which takes about 30 minutes to 4 hours depending on where they are located because they like to move from one place to another in search of food. During the activity, you will enjoy amazing views of other primate species, different birds among others. Once the golden monkeys are located you will be allowed to spend one hour with them in their natural habitat which gives you a chance to learn about their behaviors, watch them feed, play, jump up in trees, take photos and record videos.
After the one-hour encounter with the golden monkeys you will trek back to the starting point where you will meet up with your driver guide and return back to the lodge for lunch. After lunch, you will relax at the lodge and spend the rest of the day at leisure, dinner and overnight as above.

Day 4: Departure flight to Entebbe
On the last day of your 4 Days Fly in Gorilla Trekking Safari you will enjoy your breakfast, check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to transfer to Kisoro airstrip for your domestic flight back to Entebbe for your onward flight.
