4 days safari to Queen Elizabeth national park is a short safari but very rewarding as you encounter the attractive mysteries of the park, while on a tour in this park you encounter many wildlife such as the climbing lion in ishasha the southern sector of the park, elephants, buffaloes, Nile crocodiles, African bush, common warthog, spotted hyena and primates which include chimpanzee, baboons and Black-and-white Colobus. There is many bird species in the park including water birds such as White-faced Whistling, Spur-winged Plovers, Squacco Heron, Fish Eagle, Pink and white backed Pelicans, Long tailed Cormorants, African Jacana, Yellow backed Weavers, open-billed Stork, Water-Thick knee, Pied kingfishers, Wattled Plovers and many more.

Detailed itinerary for the safari
DAY 1: TRANSFER TO QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK
Your safari guide will pick you up either in Kampala or Entebbe, he will brief you through the day’s activities and then proceed to Queen Elizabeth national park. On your way you will make a stopover in fort portal for lunch, then your will head to the park. When you arrive in the park you will go for an afternoon nature walk in mweya peninsular where you will enjoy the views of kazinga channel waters, peaks of Rwenzori Mountains and the thick vegetation. After the nature walk you will head to your lodges, have dinner and sleep.

DAY 2: GAME DRIVE AND BOAT CRUISE
On this second day of the safari you are to wake up early in the morning, have breakfast and head to the park for early morning game drive. On a game drive you will encounter many animals such as elephants, lion, leopard, buffalo and rhinos, hippopotamus, Uganda knob, Nile crocodiles, African bush, common warthog, spotted hyena and primates which include chimpanzee, baboons and Black-and-white Colobus

You will wake up early for breakfast and then go for a morning game drive where you will encounter a variety of wildlife like herds of Buffaloes, Elephants, and Antelopes as they graze in the vegetation. You will rest go for lunch and then go for the thrilling boat cruise on kazinga channel where you will see many water wildlife like buffaloes, crocodiles and water birds like cheeky bronze-tailed starling, majestic crowned crane enjoying life of the water. Then you will go back to your lodges, relax, have dinner and the sleep.

Day 3: chimpanzee trekking in kyambura gorge
On this day of chimpanzee tracking you will wake up early in the morning for morning breakfast and then transfer to kyambura gorge for morning chimpanzee tracking an activity which takes 3- 4 hours, with a help of a professional tour guide you will see many beautiful vegetation types along the trails and many primates such as chimpanzees, Columbus, Ververt monkeys, Baboons and many more. After locating the chimpanzees you will be allowed to spend one hour with them. After chimpanzees tracking you will have lunch and in the afternoon you will visit the crater lakes of Queen Elizabeth national park, it is such an amazing view when seeing the water of the open calderas from the top. After your visit to the crater lakes you will drive back to your lodges, have dinner and sleep.
DAY 4: LION TRACKING AND TRANSFER TO KAMPALA
You will wake up early in the morning, have breakfast and head to the park for lion tracking experience, the experience lasts between 2-3 hours while enjoying the view of the tree climbing lions. After the experience you get out of the park and head back to Kampala, you will have a stopover in mbarara for lunch and then you will have a drop off either in Kampala or Entebbe which will mark the end of the safari
