Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Fly to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Depending on your arrival time at Entebbe international airport on the first day of the 5 days flying safari to Queen Elizabeth and Bwindi national park, you will connect for your domestic flight to Kasese airstrip where you will meet up with our expert safari driver guide. It will depart at 10:15am and 13:00pm and arrives at Kasese airstrip at around 12:05pm and 15:30pm respectively. Upon arrival, your driver guide will transfer you to your booked lodge for check in and have lunch. After lunch, stay at leisure or opt to go for an evening game drive where you will be able to view animals such as buffaloes, elephants, Uganda kobs, waterbucks, warthogs, lions, leopards many others. After the evening game drive, you will drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight. stay at Queen Elizabeth safari lodge/ Elephant hab lodge-midrange or Elephant Plains lodge-luxury

Day 2: Morning game drive/ optional lion tracking experience and afternoon boat cruise
After an early breakfast on the second day of the 5 days flying safari to Queen Elizabeth and Bwindi national park, your driver guide will pick you up from the lodge and head for a morning game drive in Kasenyi plains where you will have perfect views of the sunrise, big four mammals which are lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, other animals like waterbucks, bushbucks, Uganda kobs, views of different bird species many others. After the game drive you will drive back to the lodge for lunch.
Afternoon boat cruise, after lunch you will go for an excellent boat cruise along Kazinga channel a 40km long channel that joins Lake George and Lake Edward. During the boat cruise, expect to watch wide range of hippos and Nile crocodiles in water, view buffaloes, elephants, warthogs drinking water along the banks, view water birds few mentioned. You will also be able to watch the fishermen along the shores preparing their fishing gears for night fishing, take beautiful pictures many others. After the boat cruise you will drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight as above.

Day 3: Fly to Bwindi impenetrable national park
After breakfast on the third day of the 5 days flying safari to Queen Elizabeth and Bwindi national park, you will check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to transfer you to Kasese airstrip to catch up your domestic flight to Kihihi airstrip.
On arriving at the airstrip, you will meet up with your driver guide and connect to your lodge for lunch where after you will relax at the lodge and later go for an optional Batwa cultural tour where you will be able to interact with the batwa people, learn about their culture, way of living, lifestyle, taste their local meals, listen to their ancient stories, enjoy their traditional performances many more. After the cultural tour, you will driveback to the lodge for dinner and overnight. stay at Buhoma lodge-midrange or Buhoma haven lodge-midrange or Buhoma community rest camp-budget.

Day 4: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi impenetrable national park
You will have an early breakfast on the fourth day of the 5 days flying safari to Queen Elizabeth and Bwindi national park, carry your packed lunch from the lodge and then be driven to the park headquarter for gorilla trekking briefing. After the briefing, you will start trekking in the forest canopy trails which can last about 2 to 7 hours depending on where the mountain gorillas are located. During the trekking you will have gainful views of other primates, different bird species many others. Once the gorillas are located you will be allowed to spend an hour with them in their natural habitat which gives you amazing chance to watch them carry out their daily activities like feeding, breastfeeding, playing, grooming young ones, learn about their behaviors, habits, record the breath-taking moments as well as enjoying memorable picture taking.
After the encounter with the gentle giants you will trek back to the park headquarters where you will be awarded a certificate for participating in gorilla trekking, meet up with your driver guide to drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight as above.

Day 5: Departure flight to Entebbe airport
On the last day of the 5 days flying safari to Queen Elizabeth and Bwindi national park, you will check out of the lodge and meet up with your guide to drive you to Kihihi airstrip for your domestic flight which departs at around 9:45am and arrives at Entebbe airport at around 11:25am for your onward flight.
