Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi forest national park
Day 2: Gorilla trekking and optional community walk.

Detailed itinerary of the safari
Day 1: Transfer to bwindi forest national park
After early morning breakfast, you will be picked up by your safari guide at your hotel in either Kampala or Entebbe then embark on your journey to south western Uganda. On your journey you will pass through districts like Wakiso, Mpigi, Masaka where you will enjoy beautiful landscape, you will make a stopover at the Equator in Kayabwe where you will take memorial pictures. A second stopover will be made in Mbarara for lunch then proceed to Kanungu district where you encounter the beautiful Kigezi hills as you approach the park, in the park you will check-in your lodges, relax, have dinner and sleep. Your accommodation will depend on the sector you are to trek as it is indicated on your gorilla trekking permit.

Day 2 : Mountain gorilla trekking
You will wake up so early in the morning, have breakfast then drive to the park’s headquarters where you will be briefed by the game ranger about all the needed concerns about Bwindi forest gorilla trekking that is rules and regulations. You will hike into the forests with your packed lunch in search for the precious mountain gorillas and when you see them, you will be allowed to have an hour in their presence.
later after Bwindi gorilla trekking you will go lunch and a relaxation, later you can opt for a community walk in the village to mingle and interact with the locals and see how they go about with their normal lifes. later head back to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Transfer to kibale forest national park
Get up early in the morning with another journey plan if your, have breakfast and later embark on a transfer to Kibale forest national park , alos know n as the primates capital. There is an option of passing by Ishasha sector another amazing part of queen Elizabeth national park, famous for tree climbing lions. If you are lucky you will be able to catch the tree climbing lions at Ishaha. later proceed northwards through Kasese. till you arrive to kibale forest national park. Arrive and check in at your lodge. have dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4: Chimpanzee trekking in Kibale national park
You will wake up early for breakfast, start your early morning habituation experience by gathering at the briefing spot where you are given an insight about the dos and don’ts on the chimpanzee trekking . Head into the forests of Kibale where you will meet chimpanzee and other primates like colobus monkeys . After the experience you will return to your lodge for possibly relaxation and lunch , later in the afternoon, you will head for Bigodi swamp walk another nature walk opportunity to see birds butterflies . later retreat to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 5: Return to Kampala
After, breakfast, meet your safari guide and set off for Kampala via Mubende district with en-route lunch. Arrive in Kampala and the driver will drop you off at a location you will advise or at the airport for your onward flight back home.
