Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

Our safari driver guide will pick you up from the airport and drive to your accommodation in Arusha. Regarding your arrival time, you will have time to relax and prepare for the adventure of a lifetime. Check into your hotel, rest as you prepare for the next day’s traveling journey to Tarangire National Park. Dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Arusha to Tarangire National Park ‘’2:30hrs drive’’

After enjoying your morning breakfast at the hotel, you will be transferred to Tarangire National Park. The park was named after the Tarangire River, which runs through it. It is marked that it’s only the water source for wildlife during the dry season. Tarangire is also home to giraffes, bushbucks, and hartebeest, a range of predators, including lions and leopards, closely follow these animals.

More bird species breed here in Tarangire than anywhere else on the planet. The huge and ancient baobab trees have existed for more than a thousand years. You will enjoy an afternoon game drive with lunch at a picnic site inside the park. Later, you will transit to your lodge or camp in Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay.

Game drives in Tarangire National Park

Day 3: Leave Karatu for Serengeti National Park

 Enjoy a morning breakfast before driving up into the cooler regions of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You will have a chance to stop and view the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater. You will then transit through Ngorongoro Conservation Area to the Serengeti, entering the south of the park.

Serengeti National Park is truly a wonderful safari destination! It is renowned for its vast open grasslands, which permit perfect wildlife sightings. While it boasts abundant wildlife, it is perhaps best known for its incredible annual migrations. Depending on the time of year you visit, expect to witness one of the seven wonders of the natural world when vast numbers of wildebeest, zebra, and antelope move through the area in search of water and fresh grass. Enjoy a picnic lunch and one night at the camp in Central Serengeti.

Day 4:Full Day Explore in Serengeti National Park

On this day in Serengeti, enjoy an aromatic cup of coffee or tea served with delicious snacks at the camp. Followed by a full day in the plains of Serengeti, with both early morning and late afternoon game drives. Serengeti National Park boasts with great population of wildlife such as impala, buffalo, crocodiles, and hippos. During your game drive, you will have chances of seeing predators such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards. It is a truly life-changing experience! On a full-day game drive, enjoy a picnic lunch in the park.

After a great day in the jungle, return to the camp for refreshment, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Day 5: Serengeti National Park and transfer to Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, you will say farewell to Serengeti National Park and travel toward Ngorongoro Crater, enjoying more amazing sights along the way. After an afternoon inside the crater, you will drive to your accommodation in Karatu.

The Ngorongoro Crater stands as a pristine wilderness with sweeping savannah, acacia woodland pockets, glistening lakes, and swamps.

Note that the crater was created when a large volcano exploded and collapsed in on itself two to three million years ago.

The drive down into the crater is an adventure, and when you access the crater floor, you will quickly find yourself amongst millions of wildebeest, zebra, gazelle, and more than 500 bird species, recorded. It also provides you with the best chances of seeing the endangered black rhino, which can sometimes be seen in an open grassland. Dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 6: Lake Manyara National Park/Departure

Enjoy an early morning breakfast, then drive to Lake Manyara National Park, your final destination on this epic safari! Lake Manyara National Park is a small game park but famous for its tree-climbing lions, a unique sight in the animal kingdom. Have epic of the Great Rift Escarpment towers over Lake Manyara’s western boundary.

Lake Manyara National Park is described as a shallow Salt Lake, covering a large area of the park, flooding and drying with the season. Also known as home to thousands of wading birds ‘’flamingos, and over 500 bird species. Expect to see baboons and elephants in the park’s thick evergreen forest and search for the rare tree-climbing lions among others. Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park.

After your game drive, you will be dropped off at a place you choose, which could be Arusha, Kilimanjaro International Airport, or Arusha Airport.
