Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up from the Airport and Do Arusha city
On this first day, you will be picked up from the airport and then transferred to the hotel if time allows, depending on arrival time. You can opt to go to Arusha city. This short city tour will introduce you to Tanzania as you prepare for your trip the next day.
Then in the evening, you will be met by our safari guide to brief you about the 8 Days Tanzania Great Migration Safari. Depending on the time you arrive in Arusha, you can take an optional short hike to Kilima Moto to view a rewarding sunset. Dinner and overnight stay.

Day2: Transfer to Tarangire National Park
You will be picked up from the hotel in Arusha at 8:00 am and transferred to Tarangire National Park a journey which takes a 2-hour drive. The park is home to a great number of ancient baobab trees and boasts with most significant number of elephants in the country. This is the park where you can visit and encounter these giants up close and enjoy great sightseeing of the interaction between elephant families.
Tarangire also harbors plenty of herbivores like giraffes, wildebeests, and zebras among others. Predators to see include lions, cheetahs, and leopards but only when you are lucky. In the afternoon, go to the river picnic site and enjoy the beautiful river view and animals while having lunch, as you view a small number of monkeys and baboons that will try to scare you.
After a break for lunch, continue with the game drive before we exit the park in the evening and connect to your booked accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Leave Karatu and transfer to Centre Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, followed by check of the lodge and transfer to Central Serengeti National Park ‘’6-hour drive’’ including all stops passing through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You will have to stop to view the breathtaking crater for about 20 minutes. You can take an optional visit to Masai village to learn about the daily life of the Maasai people at an extra cost of USD20 PP.
You will arrive late afternoon and embark on a game drive in the center of Serengeti till late evening. You will also experience the sunset in Serengeti while having a close view of the wild animals and if lucky view the predators roaming around. Then, connect to the camp or lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4: Visit Northern Serengeti National Park
On this day, go explore the border parts of the Serengeti with the help of the guide- travel northwest and we follow the wildlife movements.
After an early morning breakfast, depart on a morning game drive carrying a picnic lunch. The game drive is more perfect around Mara River and hopefully views herds of the migration animals as they cross the river. You will proceed on a game drive until the evening, then return to the camp /lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5: Serengeti National Park
Today, have an early breakfast, and head for the game drive. Late in the afternoon, have lunch and continue the game drive till the evening. Return to the camp /lodge.

Day 6: Leave to Serengeti and Travel to Ngorongoro Crater
Have an early breakfast, and go on a game drive south of Serengeti toward Seronera. You will exit the Serengeti in the late afternoon to drive to Ngorongoro ‘’2hour’’. Upon arrival, check into the lodge with rewarding views of the crater. Dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater
After an early breakfast, you will descend into the crater at 6:15 am. Rhinos are the hardest to adventuring this fascinating crater. Other animal species can be seen on the crater floor.
Have lunch, go for a game drive –ascent the crater and then connect to the lodge. Arrive and depart for your hotel in Arusha.

Day 8: Excursion to Kilimanjaro
Have breakfast and go to the Materuni waterfalls, where you will participate in a short hike done in 2 hours. You will view beautiful vegetation, surreal, and waterfalls. Thereafter, you will proceed to a local coffee processing farm, where you will have a delicious lunch before transferring back to the Airport.
