Gorilla trekking in Uganda, Rwanda and Democratic Republic of Congo; This is a memorable lifetime experience which starts early in the morning with a briefing about the rules and regulations to follow during trekking. After briefing, you will be grouped in a group of 8 people to each gorilla family and you will be escorted by the park ranger to lead you to assigned gorilla family through the trekking trails. The experience can take about 2 hours to 6 hours depending on where the gorillas were last seen the previous day.
Once the gorillas are found, you will be allowed to spend one hour with them in their habits which offers a great opportunity to learn about their behaviors, lifestyle, watch the gorillas as they play, feed, breastfeeding, grooming young ones as well as taking photography.

The cost of gorilla trekking permits depends on the gorilla destination; Uganda Gorilla permits costs 700 USD per person for foreign nonresident ,600USD per person for foreign residents and 250,000 UGX per person for East African Citizen.
