Getting there-Buhoma Lodge Bwindi National Park

Buhoma in the Bwindi takes a full day drive from Kampala or Entebbe by car, from Lake Mburo national park takes 6hours and only 2 hours’ drive from Queen Elizabeth national park driving through Ishasha sector.

By Air

Tourists can book a daily scheduled light air-craft flight at the nearby Kihihi airstrip estimating 90 to 120-minute drive from Buhoma but depending upon road conditions. You can as well charter a flight to Kihihi from Entebbe or various locations around Uganda.

When to visit

Bwindi National park is best visited in dry seasons which occurs from the months of June to September and December to February when there is less rainfall.
