Detailed Itinerary
Day1: Arrive and Travel to Bwindi
Travel to Bwindi: Depending on your location our driver guide will pick you up and transfer you to Bwindi National park ,approximately 8 to 9 hours’ drive from Kampala to main destination with a stopover to the equator along Masaka in Kayabwe to view the water experiments, enjoy memorable photography, visit the craft shop among others. Proceed to drive to Mbarara town for picnic lunch. After lunch continue to drive direct to the park as you drive through rewardable country side, rolling hills, green tea plantations, kigezi islands among other.
You will access the Nkuringo sector one of the four regions where gorilla trekking is carried out in Bwindi, arrive and check in at the booked lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking
Gorilla trekking: Wake up early have breakfast with your packed lunch boxes, your drive guide picks you and drives you to the park head quarter for short briefing about Gorilla trekking safari. After briefing, meet the park ranger guide to led you to the assigned gorilla family through forest trails heads. This activity may take 30 to 6 hours depending on their movements and once they are located, you will be given an hour to observe your closest cousins said to have 98% human DNA. You will be able to learn about their amazing lifestyle, behaves, feeding, grooming their younger ones and taking memorable photo shoot but flash disc is not allowed. Then after, the ranger will lead you back from where you began at the park head quarter. Be driven to your lodge to rest, have dinner and overnight stay in the same lodge.
Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park –Evening Game drive
Transfer to Queen: Wake up have your aroma tea breakfast with delicious snacks and after check out of the lodge and transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park a home of big four mammal’s lions, elephants, buffaloes and leopards plus other species and the most spotted species here are the unique tree climbing lions. Just know driving from Bwindi to Queen Elizabeth can take 4 to 5-hour drive to the park. You will drive to Queen Elizabeth national park through Ishasha sector and arrive in time for lunch. After lunch go for evening game drive in Ishasha sector where you will be able to adventure the unique tree climbing lions while hanging on fig tree branches and other species can be seen around and end up with quite unforgettable expedition in lifetime. Drive back to the lodge for Dinner and overnight stay at Parkview safari lodge
Day 4: Morning Game Drive and Boat Cruise
Morning Game Drive: Wake up have morning coffee with snacks as you get already for your morning game drive. After, drive to Kasenyi plains in Queen Elizabeth national park. Where you will be able to see diversity of wildlife species such as lions, buffaloes, African elephants, impala, common warthogs, leopards, antelopes, waterbucks, leopards among others. During morning hours is the best time to see hyenas, leopards before returning back to their dens. Drive back to the lodge, relax and enjoy your lunch as you get ready for the afternoon boat cruise.
Afternoon Boat cruise: After lunch, go for the impressive boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel that connects to two water bodies lake Edward and Lake George. While on boat cruise, you will be able to sight see the world’s huge population of hippos, water birds, Nile crocodiles, other species like antelopes, elephants and buffaloes can be seen at the water banks of Kazinga channel. After drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay at the same lodge.
Day 5: Return back to Kampala –Entebbe Airport
Return back to Kampala: Wake up enjoy your lazy morning with breakfast as you get rewarded with green canopy around the lodge. After check out of the lodge and drive back to Kampala with a stopover for lunch Enroute in Mbarara town and visit the Igongo culture center where you will be able to view the amazing Ankole traditional dances and exploring of the long horned cattle of Ankole. Proceed the drive to Entebbe International Airport to catch up your home flight.
