Julia’s River Camp : Julia’s River Camp is an excellent safari camp is found within the world famous Masai Mara Nature Reserve and it is hidden on a sleepy bend of the Talek River, in the midst of the Masai Mara’s beautiful savannah. This tented camp is a perfect place to start your safari because it offers spectacular location to watch abundance of wildlife like lions, buffalos, wildebeest, elephants and even leopards can be seen regularly come to drink water.
All tents are pitched along the banks of the Talek, only a few feet from the river and lies on their own elevated wooden platform -offering a gainful view of the nature.
Julia’s River Camp comprises a total of 28 tents and 3 separate camps to choose from; Hippo Camp, Buffalo Camp and VIP Camp; Each with its own perfect characteristics and charm. Activities to do in Julia’s River Camp
Game drive
Game drive is the major done activity in Masai Mara National Reserve. While on game drive expect to adventure animals like Oribis, Hyenas, Giraffes, Hippos, Hartebeest, Zebras, Antelopes, Crocodiles among others.
You can enjoy migration events which happens between July and Octobers millions of animals assemble to the reserve as they cross the Mara River from Serengeti National Park in Tanzania, they cross looking for new fresh pastures and water.
Guided Nature walk
This activity can be done by the game ranger who leads you through walking trails where you can enjoy close view of animals like Giraffes, elephants, antelopes, buffaloes among others.
