Game Drives

Bird watching

Birding in Queen Elizabeth National Park is one of the best among other birding sites in Uganda. This is because the park is home to more than 600 bird species and some of birds to see includes; rare shoebills ,spotted redshank , Yellow-throated cuckoo ,Yellow –bellied wattle –eye ,White –winged tern , Heuglin’s gull ,Palm-but vulture ,Pink-backed pelican ,Red-chested sunbird ,Rufous-bellied heron ,Caspian plover ,Collared pratincole, Great blue turaco , Grey-winged robin –chat ,African fin foot ,African hobby ,African skimmer ,Ayres’s hawk-eagle ,Black bee –eater ,Black –rumped buttonquail ,Broad-billed roller among others.

Chimpanzee trekking

Chimpanzee trekking is quite stunning experience which starts early in the morning with a briefing about chimpanzee trekking rules and after briefing, a park ranger guide will lead you into trekking trails to look for chimps. This activity can take about 30 to 5 hours, depending on their location but once allocated an hour is given to trackers to spend with them get to learn their behaviors, feeding habitant, play as well as taking great memorable photography.
