Malk Mara National Park Kenya : Malk Mara National Park is located along the Kenya- Ethiopia border at the edge of the Daua River, the river which extreme north eastern side of the country on the Mandera plateau. The park was created in 1989 to protect wide range of wildlife on land that covers a total of 1,500 square kilometers in its size. However, to many visitors wonder a lot to hear a national park called Malk Mari National Park since it’s a least visited Kenya Safari Destination, not knowing that the park is rich in flora and fauna which can be encountered during their visit here.

Accessibility;
Getting to Malka Mari National Park can be extremely difficult to get there by road since it’s a long driving journey and it’s remote. There are two routes to access you to the park – northern road to Isiolo passing via Moyale near Ethiopian border.
You can choose to use the eastern side through the Sara hills which takes 160 kilometers before accessing Banissa a small village where the park’s Airstrip resides.
Another option, travelers who prefer flying -can use a domestic flight to fly you to Banissa Airstrip or a small airstrip that sits within the park.

Malk Mari National Park can be visited all year around since the its located in the semi-dry areas with bushes that are thick hence providing clear viewing of wild animals.
