Murchison Falls National Park fees 2023 -2024: Murchison Falls National Park is Uganda premium safari destination located in the northwestern Uganda region of the Albertine Rift Valley and the park is the largest among the ten Uganda National Park covering an area of about 3,893 square kilometers and famously known as home for wide range wildlife animals including the big4 of the big 5 like lions ,leopards ,elephants and Cape Buffaloes and other animal species to see includes ;warthogs ,Uganda Kobs , Johnson hart beasts, Hippos and Crocodiles among others . Murchison Falls ranks as the top attractions in the park which was formed as the river Nile squeezes itself through the Gorge of 7 meters.
The park offers remarkable Uganda Safari activities including ;Game viewing ,Bird watching ,Launch cruise, sport fishing ,visiting Budongo forest among others very stunning and unforgettable experience to enjoy during Uganda Safaris.
Note; Uganda National Park fees are updated every after two years under the governmental body ‘’UWA’’ Uganda Wildlife Authority’’ and they are distributed according to the status that is Foreign nonresident ,foreign resident and East African Citizens .More so , park entry fees is paid in 24 hours and if you spend more extra time ,that will be more day added.
Park Entrance Fees
Park entrances fee is charged per person per day.
Foreign nonresidents entitled to pay USD45 and children pay USD25 per person per day to enter Lake Mburo National Park.
Foreign resident entitled to pay USD35 and children pay USD15 to enter the park and East African Member pay UGX10,000 to enter Lake Mburo National Park.
Annual Park Entrance Fees ( Murchison Falls National Park Fees 2023 – 2024 )
The annual park entrance fees are paid to only two statuses of people; Foreign resident and East Africa Community.
An individual is entitled to pay USD350 and East Africa community member pay UGX350,000 as annual park entry fees.
Couple of foreign resident is entitled to pay USD600 and East Africa Community member pay UGX500,000 as annual entry fees.
Family of the maximum of four children’ ’foreign resident’’ pay USD800 and East African member pay UGX600,000 as annual entry fees.
Annual Corporation of the maximum of 10 people ‘’foreign resident’’ USD1,500 and East African member pay UGX2.5 million.
Safari guide under East African member pay 200,000 and taxi driver as annual park entry fees.
Tour company driver enter the park freely.
Note; Annual Park fees in Murchison Falls National Park applies the following;
It applies to all and only foreign residents who live in Uganda and East Africa countries, vehicle entrance is paid separately.
Not valid for package activities like gorilla and chimp trekking, mountaineering, hiking among others.
To qualify for annual passes, foreign residents must have a work permit valid for one year.
Safari guides is an individual who guides guests through nature weather by vehicle, boat horseback, canoe or on foot while explaining secret information within the natural environment of Uganda.
Tour Company drive; Is an individual from a recognized Ugandan tour company who drives tourists to the park.

Foreign resident with Saloon car is charged USD40 and Ugandan registered pay UGX20,000 to enter the Murchison Falls National Park.
Minibuses, Omni buses for foreign resident is charged USD50 and Uganda registered pay UGX30,000.
Pick -ups for foreign resident pay USD50 and Uganda registered pay USD30,000 to park inside Murchison Falls National Park
Tour Company Vehicle and 4-wheel drive for foreign resident pay USD150 and East African Member pay UGX30,000.
Over Landers for foreign resident is charged USD150 and East African member pay UGX100,000 to enter the park.
Buses and Lorries for foreign residents is charged USD200 and East African member pay UGX200,000.
Construction equipment for foreign resident is charged USD350 per vehicle and Ugandan registered UGX500,000.
School Buses for East African Member is charged UGX50,000 to enter the park.
Delivery vehicle per entry for East African member is charged UGX20,000 .
Boat Landing Fees ( Murchison Falls National Park Fees 2023 – 2024 );
Boats up to 15-seater for foreign residents charged USD100 and East African Member pay UGX250,000.
Launches over 15 seaters for foreign residents pay USD200 and East Africa member UGX350,000.
MFIFT boat up to 15-seater for foreign resident pay USD50 and East Africa member UGX50,000.
MFIFT boats over 15 seater for foreign resident pay USD100 and East Africa member UGX150,000.
Parking fees for boats per day for East African member pay UGX10,000.
Note; Vehicle and boat entry fees are charged per 24 hours except for concessionaire visitors who tend to pay once per trip in the park.
Rescue vehicle to be charged the same rate as other vehicle according the vehicle classification.
The roll loaders which are prohibited in the park include; executive director, motorcycles, trailers, vehicle with volatile livestock, produce, poles, timber, market merchandises, sand, bowsers, heavy trucks.

Foreign resident is charged USD20 and East African Community pay UGX40,000 to land in the park.
4-to-6-seater
Foreign resident is charged USD30 and East African members pay UGX60,000.
7 – 14-seater
Foreign resident is charged USD40 and East African members pay UGX80,000.
15 – 20-seater
Foreign resident is charged USD50 and East African members pay 10,000 to land in the park.
21 seats and above
Foreign resident pays USD60 and East African members is charged UGX120,000.
Helicopter
Foreign resident is charged USD125 and East African members pay UGX250,000.
Note; The landing fees exclude entry fees payable by passengers.
Pilots enroute to the park, do not pay entry fees, but they only pay if they spend less than 2 hours in the park.
