Rushaga Gorilla Lodge is a paradise of world’s famous Mountain Gorillas –silverback a lead in each gorilla family within Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. Note Bwindi national park is a home of 20 habituated gorilla families divided into four gorilla trekking sector where gorilla trekking is carried out that is Rushaga gorilla sector, Buhoma, Nkuringo and Ruhija, located in southwestern region in Kisoro district at the edge of the rift valley regions. However, Rushaga Gorilla Lodge lies only 10 minutes away from Nshongi Gorilla Group and its location is a highlight for all travelers and adventurers alike.

Rushaga Mountain gorilla sector includes gorilla families namely; Mishaya, Nshongi, Bweza, Rwigi, Kutu, Kahungye and Busingye. You can also encounter the culture life of the Batwa from which you will learn the ways of the traditional people who live in the forest for hundreds of years.
