Ruzizi Tented Lodge : Ruzizi is a spacious luxury eco- safari accommodation found on the banks of Lake Ihema, estimating 6 kilometers from the park reception. The lodge is designed with over nine comfortable tents set back in fig trees. They flank a thatched reception and dining area and wooden walkways lead to beautiful deck that hangs over the lake.
The lodge contains a central fire pit and is excellent spot for a morning cup of coffee.
Ruzizi tented lodge is an intimate retreat to have a comfortable stay. Each tent stuns with an en-suite bathroom with hot and cold running water, a dressing area and a cozy queen bed. All tents have shaded verandas containing campaign chairs and a tree trunk table.
The lodge was designed under beautiful surroundings to ensure guests connect with nature. It was built using hand- crafted made by local artisans and cooperatives. Ruzizi is well powered by solar energy and prides itself because of being environmentally conscious.
It is designed with only 9 tents, accommodating a maximum of 20 guests, the lodge is a quiet and offers comfortable retreat.

The lodge is Located in the second visited Rwanda safari destination ‘’Akagera National Park’’ and one of the four parks found in the country namely; Volcanoes National Park, Ntungwe National Park, Gishwati -Mukura National Park. Akagera National Park sounds as the largest game park in the country, covering at total surface area of 1,122 square kilometer. This game park got its name from the Kagera River which flow through the park. Akagera National Park is home to range of mammal species and during your stay at the lodge – you can decide to engage in game drive where you can be able to adventure all the bigfives and various antelopes. The park is truly a birding site with over 500 bird species.
