Getting there;
There are many ways of accessing Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park; there are charter flights from Entebbe International Airport to Kihihi town which connects up to Buhoma sector or Kisoro Airstrip which connects to Ruhija, Nkuringo and Rushaga sector. Tourists to Bwindi can also take flight from Entebbe International Airport by Aero link Uganda to Kihihi Airport- lands within 1:15hours and then transfer by car from the Airstrip to access the park and drive takes 1:30 hour drive.
On road, one can take the route starting from Kampala – Kabale – Ruhija routes.

Best time to visit Bwindi
Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is all year round visited but the best time to visit the park is during the drier season when the park trails are out of slippery or muddy and roads to the park are passible. Although, you can still visit the park in wet season -there is less visitors and the accommodations rates get low during rainy season;
Dry seasons happens from June to Mid- September and December to February.
Wet season happens from April to May and October to November – best time to see variety of bird species -migratory birds.
