Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park
Depending on your point of location in Kamwenge, our company representative will pick you up from your hotel at 6:30 am after your break, with a packed lunch. He will brief you about the trip while you transfer to Kibale National Park headquarters and your guide will cover your park entrance fees, activities, and the guide fee. You will then be led by the skilled guide through different trail heads which offer memorable sight-seeing of various notable birds and primates like red-tailed monkeys, potto, Blue monkeys, L’hoest, black and white monkeys, and if you’re lucky you may see chimpanzees. If time around, you will make your way through beautiful villages where you will interact with the local people including the Bakiga and the Batoro who are from the Runyakitara-speaking tribes in Uganda. After you will hike back to the park headquarters to meet up with your guide and drive you back to your hotel in Kamwenge. That marks a 1 day Kibale Waking Safari.
