Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Lake Mburo National Park,
Depending on your location in Kampala on your one-day safari, our driver guide will pick you up very early in the morning to embark on the journey to Lake Mburo National Park. It’s a 4 to 5-hour drive to the park and along the way, you will enjoy beautiful views of drums at Mpambire and have a brief stopover at the Equator in Kayabwe where you will take memorable photos, buy souvenirs, and then continue the journey to the park. Upon arrival, you will go for a game drive in the park where you will be rewarded with impressive views of animals like buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, elands, warthogs, waterbucks, impalas, topi, different bird species many more.
After the game drive you will have lunch and after you will go for an amazing boat cruise on Lake Mburo. During the boat cruise which takes about 2 hours you will enjoy interesting views of hippos and crocodiles in water, buffaloes, warthogs, and antelopes along the shores, view water birds like cormorants, hornbills, bee-eaters, kingfishers, view fishermen fishing many more. After the boat cruise, you will drive out of the park and drive back to Kampala. Upon arrival, your driver guide will drop you off at any place of your choice or at your hotel in Kampala /Entebbe.
