Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Murchison Falls National Park– Afternoon boat cruise
On the first day of the 2 days Murchison Falls tour you will be met by our driver guide very early in the morning who will brief you about the safari and then set off to Murchison Falls National Park. The journey takes about 5 to 6 hours’ drive and on the way you will enjoy gainful views of the countryside, beautiful scenery many others.
On arrival in the park, you will have lunch and then drive to Victoria Nile for an exciting boat cruise to the bottom of the falls. During the boat ride expect to view large herds of hippos in water, crocodiles basking on the banks, elephants, buffaloes, warthogs, antelopes along the shores, and water birds such as cormorants, bee-eaters, kingfishers, fish eagles, hornbills, and many others. After the boat ride you will drive to the top of the falls where you will be able to enjoy the spectacular waterfall, enjoy water splashes among others. After the top of the falls, connect to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Nile safari lodge-luxury/ Pakuba Safari lodge-midrange or Parkside safari lodge-budget

Day 2: Morning game drive and departure to Kampala
After an early breakfast on the second day of the 2 days Murchison Falls tour you will check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to embark on a morning game drive in the park. During the game drive you will be able to enjoy perfect views of the beautiful sunrise, animals like buffaloes, elephants, giraffes, Uganda kobs, waterbucks, warthogs, Jackson’s hartebeest, lions, leopards, hyenas, a variety of bird species among others.
After the game drive you will drive out of the park and transfer back to Kampala. On the way, you will have en-route lunch and then proceed to Kampala. Upon arrival, your driver’s guide will drop you off at your hotel or any place of convenience.
