Queen Elizabeth National Park is located in southwestern Uganda, approximately a 5 to 6-hour drive – it is home to over 95 mammal species and over 600 classic bird species as well as chimpanzee species which can be encountered in Kyambura Gorge.
Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park–afternoon boat cruise
On your agreed point of location on the first day of the 2 days Queen Elizabeth National Park safari, our driver guide will pick you up from your hotel very early in the morning, brief you about the safari, and then transfer you to Queen Elizabeth National Park. On the way, you will have an en-route lunch and enjoy gainful views of the landscape, countryside many others.
Upon arrival, you will embark on an impressive boat cruise on Kazinga channel a water body that joins Lake Edward and Lake George where you will get an opportunity to take clear photos, cruise meters away from a large population of hippos and Nile crocodiles in the water, other animals to see include elephants, buffaloes, antelopes among others which will be drinking water along the banks, aquatic bird species, view fishermen on the lake shores preparing their fishing gears for night fishing many others. After the memorable boat ride, drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Morning game drive and departure to Kampala
After an early breakfast on the last day of the 2 days Queen Elizabeth National Park safari you will meet up with your driver guide to embark on a morning game drive where you will be able to view different animal species including elephants, buffaloes, waterbucks, bushbucks, warthogs, leopards, Uganda kobs, variety of bird species, take beautiful pictures of the landscape, sunrise many others.
After the game drive you will drive out of the park and be transferred back to Kampala with en-route lunch on the way. After lunch, you will continue the journey arriving early evening and upon arrival, your driver guide will drop you off at Entebbe airport for your departure flight or be dropped off at any place of convenience.
