Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up and transfer to a hotel in Entebbe
Depending on your arrival time at Entebbe International Airport on day 1 of the 21 Days Uganda and Tanzania Safari, you will be welcomed by a hotel representative and then drives you to a hotel in Entebbe for dinner and overnight stay at Best western hotel-midrange, protea Marriot Hotel – Luxury
Day 2: Transfer flight to Murchison Falls National Park
After breakfast on day 2 of the 21 Days Uganda and Tanzania Safari, you will connect for your domestic flight with Aero Link Uganda to Pakuba airstrip which departs at around 13:00 pm and arrives at around 14:00pm. Upon arrival, you will find our driver guide waiting to pick you up from Pakuba airstrip and then drive to the lodge for lunch.
After lunch, you will relax at the lodge and later go for an evening game drive where expect to watch different animals like buffaloes, elephants, waterbucks, oribi, Jackson’s hartebeest, giraffes, Uganda kobs, warthogs and others. After the game drive you will drive to the top of the falls where you will be able to view the beautiful waterfall, enjoy water splashes many more. Day 3: Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise
After an early breakfast on day 3 of the 21 Days Uganda and Tanzania Safari, your driver guide will pick you up from the lodge and embark for a morning game drive where you will have stunning views of animals like giraffes, buffaloes, elephants, Uganda kobs, waterbucks, lions, leopards, warthogs, Jackson’s hartebeest among others. After the game drive you will drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
After lunch you will go for an impressive boat cruise to the bottom of the falls where you will be able to spot animals like elephants, antelopes, buffaloes which will be drinking water along the shores, view hippos and Nile crocodiles in water, view aquatic bird species such as hornbills, cormorants, king fishers, bee-eaters, fish eagles many more. After the interesting boat cruise you will drive back to the lodge for an evening relaxation, dinner and overnight as above.
Day 4: Transfer to Kibale national park
After breakfast on day 4 of the safari, followed by check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to set off the journey to Kibale forest national park which lies in western Uganda. It’s a whole day journey and on the way you will have en-route lunch and enjoy a gainful views of the beautiful scenery, landscape, tea plantation, Rwenzori Mountains, views of the crater lakes many others. Upon arrival in Kibale national park, you will proceed to check into the lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Chimpanzee Forest Lodge-Midrange, Chimpundu Lodge – Luxury
Day 5: Chimpanzee trekking and transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park
You will have early delicious breakfast on day 5 of the 21 Days Uganda and Tanzania Safari, your driver guide will pick you up from the lodge to transfer to the Kanyachu park headquarters for a chimpanzee trekking briefing. After the briefing you will start trekking in the forest in look out of chimpanzees. Trekking of chimpanzees in Kibale national park takes about 30 minutes to 4 hours depending on their location in the forest. As your tracking, it gives you an opportunity to spot other primates and bird species.
Once the chimpanzees are located you will be allowed to spend one hour with them in their environment which helps you to observe them feed, play, fight, hunt, rest, their behaviors, take photos and record videos. After have an hour encounter with the chimpanzees you will trek back to the park headquarters where you will meet up with your driver guide and return to the lodge for lunch.
After lunch you will check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to drive you to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Along the way you will enjoy beautiful views of the scenery, landscape and upon arrival in the park you will go for an evening game drive where you will be rewarded with views of animals species such as elephants, Uganda kobs, buffaloes, waterbucks, bushbucks, warthogs many more .After the game drive you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Elephant hab –midrange ,Elephant plains –Luxury
Day 6: Morning game drive/ lion tracking experience and afternoon boat cruise
Enjoy an early breakfast on day 6 of the 21 Days Uganda and Tanzania Safari, your driver guide will pick you up from the lodge to go for a morning game drive/ lion tracking experience in Kasenyi plains. During the game drive you will be able to spot different animals including elephants, buffaloes, warthogs, Uganda kobs, waterbucks which will be grazing in open savannah plains, view predators like lions, leopards, hyenas which will be searching for a morning hunt, view bird species many more. After the game drive you will drive back to the lodge for lunch.
After lunch you will head out for an interesting boat cruise on Kazinga channel a water channel that link lake Edward and lake George where you will be able to view large school of hippos and Nile crocodiles in water, view buffaloes, elephants, warthogs, waterbucks drinking water along the shores, view water birds like hornbills, cormorants, fish eagles, king fisher’s and others. After the boat ride you will return to the lodge for an evening relaxation, dinner and overnight as above.
Day 7: Leisure at the lodge
On day 7 of the 21 Days Uganda and Tanzania Safari, you will have a relaxed breakfast and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Lunch, dinner and overnight as above.
Day 8: Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park
On day 8 of the safari, you will enjoy a relaxed breakfast, check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to drive you to Bwindi impenetrable national park. On the way you will have a stopover in Ishasha sector in the southern part of Queen Elizabeth national park where you will be able to watch the unique tree climbing lions which will be lazily lying up in acacia/ fig tree branches. After the game drive in Ishasha sector you will have lunch and then proceed the journey to Bwindi impenetrable national. Upon arrival you will check into the lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Buhoma haven lodge-midrange, Buhoma Lodge – Luxury
Day 9: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi impenetrable national park
After an early breakfast on day 9 of the safari, you will carry packed lunch and meet up with your driver guide to transfer to the park headquarters for a gorilla trekking briefing. After the briefing you will start trekking in the jungle in search of the mountain gorillas which takes about 30 minutes to 7 hours depending on where the gorillas are located because they like to move from one place to another in search of food. During trekking you will be able to view other primate species, different birds, plants among others and once the mountain gorillas are found, you will be able to spend one hour with them in their natural habitat which gives you an opportunity to observe their behaviors, watch them carry out their daily activities, take photos and record videos.
After the one hour encounter with the gentle giants you will trek back to the park headquarters where you will be rewarded a certificate for participating in gorilla trekking and then meet up with your driver guide to either return to the lodge for relaxation or go for an Optional Batwa cultural tour where you will be able to interact with the Batwa, learn about their culture, tradition, way of living, visit their homesteads, listen to their ancient stories, enjoy their traditional performances among others. After the cultural tour, you will return back to the lodge for dinner and overnight as above
Day 10: Transfer to Lake Mburo national park
After breakfast on the tenth day of the safari, you will check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to transfer to Lake Mburo national park. On the way you will enjoy stunning views of the landscape, scenery, farmlands, countryside among others. Upon arrival you will check into the lodge for lunch where after you will relax and later go for an evening game drive where you will be able to view different animals such as buffaloes, oribi, waterbucks, giraffes, zebras, topi among others. After the game drive, you will drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Arcadia cottages-midrange

Day 11: Transfer to Entebbe and Departure flight to Tanzania
You will enjoy breakfast, check out of the lodge and then meet up with your driver guide to head back to Kampala. On the way you will have a stopover at the Equator, take photos and buy craft souvenirs. From the Equator you will continue to drive to Kampala with en-route lunch on the way. Upon arrival your driver guide will drop you off at Entebbe international airport for your onward flight to Kilimanjaro International Airport in Tanzania.
Your guide will pick you up from the airport upon your arrival. He will welcome you to northern Tanzania, and have a short briefing about the safari. Then, proceed to drive to your hotel, check in relax as you wait for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 12: Materuni Waterfalls Hike
Today, get to enjoy a Materuni waterfalls hike at the foothills of the Kilimanjaro, which will allow you to enjoy the walk through communities, see the Materuni waterfalls all the while enjoying spectacular views of the Kilimanjaro Mountain.
Get to enjoy a locally prepared lunch, and then proceed to return to Arusha. Dinner and an overnight stay as above.

Day 13: Drive to Tarangire park, Game Drive
After having breakfast at your hotel in Arusha, you will be transferred to Tarangire National Park which is also located in the northern part of Tanzania. Tarangire national park is known for hosting large herds of elephants as well as ancient baobab trees.
You will have lunch and also participate in an afternoon game drive around Tarangire national park. During your game drive adventure in the national park, you will lookout for wildlife species like gazelles, impalas, zebras, waterbucks among others as well as the various bird species which this game park is known for. You will enjoy watching the sunset in the wilderness of the game park and your guide will drive you to your lodge for dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 14: Full Day in Tarangire National Park
Have breakfast at the lodge and go to enjoy a full day in Tarangire National Park. Look out for various wildlife in the park like giraffes, zebras, large herds of elephants and many more. Enjoy your lunch box over a picnic. After go for another game drive before you return to the lodge. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge as above.
Day 15: Drive to Serengeti, En-route Game Drive
Drive Time: Approx. 4 hours to Serengeti Park
Wake up have a sumptuous breakfast at the lodge, check out and with your packed lunch, transfer to Serengeti National Park. You shall drive through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and enjoy sweeping views of the highlands and wildlife en-route.
Through Nabbi gate, you shall enter into famous Serengeti National Park. You will enjoy your picnic lunch in the wilderness. Continue a drive to the camp all the while enjoying wild game viewing en-route. Check in at your camp, relax as you wait for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 16: North Serengeti Game Drives
Drive Time: Approx. 2-3 hours for strict transfer
After an early breakfast, head to the north Serengeti on a 2-3-hour drive. You will explore the northern part of Serengeti National Park, especially around the Mara River area searching for the splendid Mara river crossing which is purely left to chance. Also search for number of animal in Serengeti including lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, giraffes among others. You will enjoy picnic lunch in the park. Return to the camp for dinner and an overnight.

Day 17: Hot air balloon and afternoon game drive
Wake up to an early morning breakfast, then transfer to the launch area of the Hot air balloon, enjoy a one-hour balloon ride over the Serengeti plains looking out for the migrating herds from up above. During your hot air balloon marvel at the sunrise over the park bringing life into the wilderness. Enjoy bush breakfast experience.
Meet your guide at the camp, relax at the camp and after your hot lunch head out for more game drive experience for a great opportunity to see more wild game. Chase the sunset as you return to your camp. Relax as you wait for dinner and an overnight stay as above.

Day 18: Drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Olduvai Gorge
Breakfast will be served at your lodge as you prepare for your drive to Ngorongoro conservation area. Upon arrival, you will have a stop at Olduvai Gorge for an opportunity to learn about the historical findings of Dr Louis and Mary Leaky.
Enjoy a game drive in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, later return to the lodge, check in and rest as you wait for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 19: Ngorongoro Crater Drive, Maasai Bomas Cultural Tour
After breakfast at the lodge, with a packed lunch you will descend into the crater and you will visit Lake Magadi which lies in the center of the crater. You will also lookout for various wildlife species like elephants, rhinos, buffalos, lions, leopards, cheetahs, wildebeests, zebras as well as flamingos along the shores of Lake Magadi.
Get to interact with the Maasai tribe in their manyattas and enjoy learning about their unique culture and lifestyle. As you enjoy the beautiful scenery of Ngorongoro. Drive to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay as above.

Day 20: Drive to Lake Manyara National Park-canopy walk
After having breakfast at your lodge, your guide will drive you to Lake Manyara national park known as home to the rarely tree climbing lions and also elephants and other wildlife species.
You will also participate in a game drive and explore Lake Manyara national park, and enjoy seeing the diverse scenery of the national park. You will also search out for different wildlife species around the national park like antelopes, gazelles, buffalos, leopards, waterbucks, monkeys, baboons among others as well as different various bird species.
After your game drive, embark on a canopy walk in the park, giving you an opportunity to have a bird’s eye view of the park.
Proceed to the lodge, check in and relax as you wait for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 21: Guided walking safari, Drive to Arusha
