Day 1: Transfer to Kahuzi Biega national park from Kigali
Day 2: gorilla trekking at Kauzi Biega national park
Day 3: Transfer Back to Kigali
Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: transfer from Kigali to Bukavu district in Congo.
Early in the morning , you will be picked by our guide who will later transfer you to south Eastern of Rwanda , and to Cyangugu border crossing to Bukavu town . the drive takes a approximately 7 hours to get to Bukavu from Kigali. Later you will check in at your hotel, for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Easter lowland gorilla trekking.
Get up in the morning , have breakfast , be picked up from the your lodge and be transferred to the parks briefing point. upon getting there, you will be briefed on the procedures and the rules of gorilla trekking, later head into the jungle searching for the lowland gorillas, note that the lowland gorillas are much bigger than their counterparts the mountain gorillas . The difference in the size of the lowland gorillas and the mountain gorillas is attributed to the difference in in the terrain. upon meeting the gorillas, you will spend a maximum of 1 hour with them interacting . later after the trek you can opt to do a chimpanzee visit at the chimpanzee orphanage near by ore simply head back to the lodge for a relaxation. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.
Day 3: depart Kahuzi biega for Kiagali .
In the morning after breakfast, you will depart Kahuzi biega national park cross into Rwanda from the Cyangugu border. will on your way, you could stop by to Visit the King of Nyanza and his tomb alongside his spouse. if time still allows, you will also have an opportunity to visit the Butare museum, later you will proceed to Kigali and if your flight is that same day be dropped at the airport for your connecting flight home.
