Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Fly from Entebbe Airport and transfer to Bwindi National Park
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport on the first day of your 3 Days Fly in Bwindi Gorilla Trekking Safari, our driver guide will pick you up from your hotel and transfer to Entebbe International Airport for your domestic flight to Kihihi airstrip. There are various scheduled flights to Bwindi impenetrable national park which depart from Entebbe airport at 7:00 am, 10:15 am, 13:00pm and arrive at Kihihi airstrip at 08:45 am, 11:55 am and 15:30pm respectively. On arrival at Kihihi airstrip, you will meet your driver guide waiting for you to transfer you by road to the lodge for lunch.
After lunch, you will either spend the rest of the day at leisure or go for an optional Batwa cultural tour where you will be able to meet up with the local people, learn about their culture, and way of living, enjoy their traditional music, dance and drama from Batwa women, listen to ancient stories many more. After the cultural tour, you will drive back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay at Buhoma lodge-luxury or Sanctuary Gorilla Forest camp-luxury

Day 2: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi
You will wake up, have breakfast on the second day of your 3 Days Fly in Bwindi Gorilla Trekking Safari, and with your packed lunch meet up with your driver guide to drive to the park headquarters for a gorilla trekking briefing about the rules, regulations and expectations during trekking. After the briefing, you will start trekking in the jungle to look at the mountain gorillas which takes about 30 minutes to 7 hours depending on their movements. During trekking, you will be able to enjoy gainful views of the bird species, animals, plants, and primates like the L’hoest monkeys among others. Once gorillas are located, you will be allowed to spend one hour with the gorillas in their natural habitat learning about their habits, and behaviors, taking photographs, and recording videos. After the one-hour interaction with the mountain gorillas, you will trek back to the meeting center where you will meet up with your driver guide and transfer to the lodge for an evening relaxation, dinner and overnight stay as above.

Day 3: Departure flight to Entebbe
On the last day of your 3 Days Fly in Bwindi Gorilla Trekking Safari, you will have breakfast, check out of the lodge, and meet up with your driver guide to drive you to Kihihi airstrip for your flight back to Entebbe Airport which departs at around 09:45 am and arrives at around 11:25 am.
