Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up from the Airport and Transfer to Bwindi National Park
Upon arrival at Kigali Airport, our driver guide will welcome you, brief you and then transfer you to the Hotel to relaxation.
If you arrive early, you can go for a city tour around Kigali city. You will be able to visit the Genocide Memorial, the Presidential palace, and the biggest malls for craft shopping among others. Dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Wake up early have delicious breakfast, your driver guide will pick you up and drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National park. You can opt to visit the twin lakes ‘’Burera and Ruhondo’’ . After, proceed the journey to cross the border ‘’Chanika ‘’ and after border crossing. You will continue to drive through small towns and villages have stopover at small local market centers, you will be welcomed by communities of different culture selling a variety of fresh fruits and food, watch them riding food on their bicycles and beautiful tea plantation farms. Dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
You will wake up early have delicious breakfast, carry your packed food and meet your driver guide to drive you to the meeting point where other tourists will join you. You will be briefed about gorilla trekking rules and regulation. After briefing, you will meet the park ranger to allocate you to the assigned gorilla family. The trek can take about 30minutes to 7 hours depending on their movement in the jungle. On finding them, you will be allowed one hour to spend with them as you learn about their behavior, habit, feeding, play, groom themselves, build their nest in the evening, enjoy photo shoot and capturing videos.
After an incredible encounter, hike back to the starting point to be rewarded your gorilla trekking certificate and then meet your driver guide to drive you back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Travel to Lake Bunyonyi
After a relaxed breakfast followed by checkout of the lodge, drive to Echuya Forest to visit the Batwa pygmies of the area and get time to learn about their beautiful culture and history. Later, drive to your accommodation for relaxation.
In the afternoon, go for boat cruise on Lake Bunyonyi which is also a perfect activity for birders. Come back on ground and take walk around the community and experience their ways of living. Dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Departure to Kigali International Airport
Have early breakfast, check out of the lodge and start the journey back to Kigali International Airport with en-route lunch and if you missed do the Kigali city tour on your first day. Upon arrival in Kigali, go for a city tour and after, you will be dropped off at any place of advice.
