Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Kibale National Park
Our company representative will pick you up wherever you will be advised us, he will brief you about the safari and then start the journey to western Uganda. As you drive there, you will pass via Mubende and have an en-route lunch in the beautiful town of Fort Portal where you will proceed the journey with impressive views of crater lakes, Rwenzori ranges, tea plantations, stunning scenery a lot more. Arrive at the park and check into the lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Chimpundu lodge-luxury/ Kibale Tourist Safari Lodge -midrange or Isunga lodge –budget

Day 2: Chimpanzee trekking and Bigodi swamp walk
Chimpanzee trekking,
You will wake up early and have a yummy breakfast on the second day of the 5 Days Kibale Chimpanzee and Queen Elizabeth Wildlife Safari Uganda leads you to a combined wildlife and primates safari destination. Visiting Queen Elizabeth National Park for game adventure and boat cruise lifetime your driver guide will pick you up from your lodge and drive to Kanyachu visitor’s center for a briefing about chimpanzee trekking. After the briefing you will start trekking in the forest with a skilled park ranger guide in search of the chimpanzees which takes about 30 minutes to 4 hours depending on where the chimpanzees are located, they like to move from one place to another looking for food. During trekking, expect to view other primates, various classic bird species, mammals, plants many more. Once the chimpanzees are located you will be able to spend one hour with spend with them in their natural habitat which gives you a chance to learn about their behaviors, watch them feed, breastfeed, fight, play, hunt, rest, mate, take photography and record videos with a flashless camera. After the face to face encounters with the chimpanzees you will walk back to the starting point where you will meet up with your driver guide. Return to the lodge to have lunch.
Bigodi swamp walk,
After lunch, you will embark on a guided nature walk in Bigodi swamp where you will be able to view different primate species such as grey-cheeked Mangabey, l’hoest monkeys, black and white colobus monkeys, baboons, view bird species such as the great blue turaco, mammals like bush pigs, bushbucks, view different plant and tree species, colorful butterflies, enjoy the cool breeze many more. After the swamp walk, you will drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay as above.

Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park-afternoon game drive
After breakfast on the third day of the 5 Days Kibale Chimpanzee and Queen Elizabeth Wildlife Safari, you will check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park. On the way you will have fantastic views of the crater lakes and tea plantations, and upon arrival in Queen Elizabeth National Park you will check into the lodge and have a toothsome lunch.
After lunch, you will head for an afternoon game drive in the park where you will have splendid views of animals such as buffaloes, elephants, giant forest hogs, bushbucks, waterbucks, Uganda kobs, some bird species many others. After the game drive you will drive to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay at Elephant Plains lodge-luxury/ Elephant Hub lodge-midrange or Pumba Safari cottages-budget

Day 4: Morning game drive/lion tracking and afternoon boat cruise
Morning game drive/ lion tracking experience
Have an early breakfast on the fourth day of the 5 Days Kibale Chimpanzee and Queen Elizabeth Wildlife Safari, your driver guide will pick you up from the lodge to head for a morning game drive where you will be able to explore animals when they are most active. During the game drive you will be able to see animals including elephants, buffaloes, waterbucks, Uganda kobs, bushbucks, warthogs many more can be seen grazing in the open savannah plains, view predators like lions, and leopards before going back to their hiding areas and, view various bird species among others. After the game drive you will return to the lodge for lunch.
Afternoon boat cruise
After lunch, you will drive to the landing site near the luxury Mweya safari lodge for an impressive boat cruise on Kazinga Channel a 40km long channel that links Lake George and Lake Edward. During the boat cruise, you will be able to view a school of hippos and crocodiles in the water, other animals to see; elephants, buffaloes, warthogs, and antelopes drinking water along the shores, view water birds like kingfishers, fish eagles, cormorants, bee-eaters and see fishermen preparing their fishing gears for night fishing. After the boat ride, return to the lodge for an evening relaxation, dinner and overnight stay as above.

Day 5: Departure to Kampala
After a yummy breakfast on the last day of the 5 Days Kibale Chimpanzee and Queen Elizabeth Wildlife Safari, you will check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to depart to Kampala. On the way, you will have an en-route lunch in Mbarara city and then proceed the journey with a stopover at the Equator in Kayabwe for memorable picture taking and buy souvenirs. From the Equator, you will continue a drive to Kampala arriving early evening. Upon arrival, your driver guide will drop you off at Entebbe International Airport for your onward flight or drop off at any place of your choice.
