Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Gulu via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary
Depending on your location on the first day of the 5 Days Kidepo Valley Wildlife Safari our driver guide will pick you up from the hotel, brief you about the safari, and then set off the journey to Kidepo Valley National Park in northwestern Uganda. On the way you will have a stopover at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for Rhino tracking which takes about 2 to 3 hours and en-route lunch then continue to Gulu town arriving late afternoon. Dinner and overnight at Churchill Hotel Gulu.

Day 2: Transfer to Kidepo Valley National Park-afternoon game drive
On the second day of the 5 Days Kidepo Valley Wildlife Safari, you will have breakfast, check out of the hotel, and meet up with your driver guide to continue the journey to Kidepo Valley National Park. Arrive at the park, check into the lodge for lunch, and after lunch, you will embark on an afternoon game drive where you will drive to Narus Valley known for harboring the highest number of wildlife species.
During the game drive, you will be able to adventure lots of animal species like buffaloes, elephants, zebras, giraffes, waterbucks, bushbucks, waterbucks, Uganda kobs, oribi, elands, warthogs among others which can be seen gathering around the valley to quench water for thirsty during the dry season, view carnivores such as lions, leopards, cheetahs, jackals, hyenas if you are lucky and different bird species. After the game drive, you will connect to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay at Kidepo Savannah lodge-midrange or Apoka rest camp-budget

Day 3: Morning game drive and cultural tour
On the third day of your 5 Days Kidepo Valley Wildlife Safari, you will have a tasty breakfast and meet up with your driver guide to embark on another morning game drive which gives you a chance to view animals that you will have missed during the previous game drive. During the game drive, expect to visit Kanangorok hot spring where you will have beautiful views of the mountains, animals, and birds, interact with different people who come to pay homage, offer sacrifices, and seek blessings a lot more. After the game drive you will drive back to your lodge for lunch.
After lunch, you will embark on a unique cultural tour around the park where you will visit the Karamojong people in their community. The Karamojong are fierce warrior pastoralists living at the borders of southern Sudan and Kenya. During the cultural tour, you will view the Karamojong instruments such as spears, knives, beads, bows, the Manyatta homesteads, learn about their amazing culture where men marry as many wives as they can as long as they can pay dowry for them, view half-naked people decorated in tribal markings, listen to old stories, be entertained through cultural songs, dances, music many more. After the cultural tour, connect to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay, as above.

Day 4: Morning game drive and transfer to Gulu
After an early breakfast on the fourth day of the 5 days Kidepo Valley wildlife safari your driver guide will pick you up from the lodge to embark on another game drive in the park where you will be able to watch animals that you might have missed see the previous day. After the game drive, you will return to the lodge for lunch where you will check out and meet up with your driver guide to travel to Gulu for dinner and an overnight stay at Churchill hotel Gulu.

Day 5: Departure to Kampala
After a yummy breakfast on the last day of the 5 Days Kidepo Valley Wildlife Safari, you will check out of the hotel and meet up with your driver guide to depart to Kampala.
On the way you will have en-route lunch in Gulu town and after proceed the journey to Kampala.Arriving in the evening. Upon arrival, you will be dropped off at any place of advice.
