Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Murchison falls national park,
Depending on your location, your safari driver guide will pick you up and brief you about the 5 Days Murchison Falls Uganda Safari and then set off to Murchison falls national park in north western Uganda. Along the way, you will have a stopover at Ziwa rhino sanctuary for rhino tracking experience. After rhino tracking, you will proceed a drive with en-route lunch where after you will continue the journey to famous Murchison falls national park. Upon arrival, you will drive to the top of the falls where you will enjoy splendid views of the waterfall, walk along Bakers trail and later connect to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Pakuba safari lodge-midrange or Tilenga safari lodge-budget.

Day 2: Morning game drive and boat cruise to the bottom of the falls
After an early breakfast, your driver guide will pick you up from the lodge to embark for a morning game drive where you will be able to explore a vast of wild animals including elephants, buffaloes, Jacksons hartebeest, warthogs, bushbucks, waterbucks, giraffes among others grazing in the open plains, view predators like lions, leopards, hyenas, bird species among others. After the game drive, you will return to the lodge for lunch.
After lunch you will go for an amazing boat cruise to the bottom of the falls where you will enjoy magical views of animals like elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, warthogs among others drinking water along the shores, view hippos in water, crocodiles basking along the shores, view aquatic bird species many more. After the impressive boat cruise you will meet up with your driver guide and return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Nile delta boat cruise and evening game drive
After morning breakfast, you will go for an interesting Nile delta boat cruise where you will cruise downstream to the Victoria Nile delta stretching to the shores of Lake Albert. During the Nile delta boat cruise you will have iconic views of water birds, animals such as elephants, Nile crocodiles among others. After the Nile delta boat cruise you will return to the lodge for lunch.
After lunch you will drive to the top of the falls where you will enjoy breathtaking views of the waterfalls, water splashes among others. From the top of the falls, you will go for an evening game drive where you will be able to view different animals such as buffaloes, waterbucks, giraffes, view predators like lions, leopards, hyenas many more. After the game drive you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight as above.

Day 4: Chimpanzee trekking in Budongo forest
After an early breakfast, you will carry packed lunch and meet up with your driver guide to drive you to Budongo forest for chimpanzee trekking briefing. After the briefing you will start trekking in the forest which takes about 2 hours to 5 hours depending on where they are located. During trekking you will be able to encounter other wildlife species. Once the chimpanzees are located you will be allowed to spend an hour with them in their natural habitat which gives you a great opportunity to learn more about their behaviors, watch them breastfeed, feed, play, rest, take photos and record the moments.
After the one hour with the chimpanzees, you will trek back to the starting point where you will meet up with your driver guide and then return to the lodge for an evening relaxation, dinner and overnight as above.

Day 5: Departure to Kampala
On the last day of the5 Days Murchison Falls Uganda Safari, you will have breakfast, check out of the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to drive back start to Kampala. On the way, you will have en-route lunch and then proceed the journey to Kampala .Arriving early evening and upon arrival your driver guide will drop you off at any place of inconvience.
