Detailed itinerary
DAY 1: PICK-UP KIGALI AND TRANSFER TO BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK
Upon arrival at Kigali airport/depending on your location in Kigali, your safari guide will pick you up and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable national park with en-route city tour visiting Kigali Genocide memorial site and the market where you will interact with the local sellers. You will have lunch then process on a 4-5 hour’s drive to Bwindi entering Uganda through Cyanika/Katuna border, go through the immigration process then proceed with en-route lunch. Check-in your lodge your lodge, have dinner and sleep.

DAY 2: GORILLA TREKKING
You will wake up in the morning for early breakfast, with your Gorilla trekking gears, transfer to the park’s headquarters’ for briefing. After briefing, enter the forest to search for the gorillas trekking through the impenetrable forest, have your lunch since it takes about 2-8 hours trekking. On meeting the gorillas, you will take an hour in their presence taking close pictures. After trekking, you go back to your lodge, rest for the evening, have dinner and sleep.

DAY 3: TRANSFER TO QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK
You will have breakfast in the morning then embark on 5-6 hours’ drive to western Uganda, on your way you will make a stopover in Ishaka for lunch. Proceed to Queen Elizabeth national park. Arrive in the after and connect for an evening game drive before you connect to check-in your lodge to rest, dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 4: GAME DRIVE AND BOAT CRUISE.
You will wake up early for morning breakfast, and then go for morning game drive in Kasenyi game drive trail where you will encounter animals like Lions, herds of elephants, Uganda kobs and many more. After the game drive, you will have lunch rest and in the afternoon you will go afternoon boat cruise on Kazinga channel, while on a boat cruise trip you will view the scenic view of the adjacent rugged landscape and many animals like crocodiles, water birds like crested crane and herds of hippopotamus playing in the waters. You will return to your lodges, relax, have dinner and sleep.
DAY 5: TRANSFER BACK TO KIGALI
You will wake up early, have your breakfast and return to Kigali, you will make a stopover for lunch, cross via Katuna border to connect to Kigali city with views of the rolling hills of Rwanda. You will be dropped off at the airport for your evening flight or at the hotel which marks the end of the safari.
