The 5 days Uganda gorilla trekking from Kigali is an interesting gorilla trekking adventure that starts and ends in Kigali, Rwanda. The safari will take you to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, which is located in the southwestern part of Uganda.
Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is known for harboring the highest number of gorillas, which are found in four sectors, namely, the Buhoma sector, the Ruhija sector, the Nkuringo sector, and the Rushaga sector.
During the Uganda gorilla safari, you will get an opportunity to spend time with the endangered mountain gorillas in the natural environment.

Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Pick up and transfer to a hotel in Kigali
Depending on your arrival time at Kigali International Airport on the first day of the safari. You will be welcomed by our driver guide, who will brief you about the safari and then transfer you to the hotel in Kigali for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Kigali city tour and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
On the second day of the safari, you will have a relaxed breakfast, check out of the lodge, and meet up with your driver guide to go for a short city tour in Kigali, where you will visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial Center, Kimironko market, among others.
After the city tour, you will start the journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park with en route lunch on the way and views of the rolling hills, farmlands, landscapes, among others. Upon arrival in Bwindi National Park, you will check into the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Gorilla trekking experience
After an early breakfast on the third day of the safari, your driver guide will pick you up from the lodge with your packed lunch to transfer to the park headquarters for a gorilla trekking briefing. After the briefing, you will start trekking in the jungle in search of the mountain gorillas with an experienced park guide and park rangers.
Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park takes about 2 to 7 hours depending on where the gorillas are located because they like to move from one place to another in search of food. During trekking you will be able to view other primates, birds, plant and tree species, mammals, and others, and once the gorillas are located, you will be allowed to spend one hour with them, which gives you an opportunity to watch them feed, breastfeed, groom young ones, learn more about their behaviors, take photos, and record videos. After the one hour with the mountain gorillas, you will return to the lodge for an evening of relaxation, dinner, and overnight.
Day 4: Guided nature walk and Batwa cultural tour
On the fourth day of the safari, you will have breakfast at the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to go for a guided nature walk briefing at the park headquarters. After the briefing, you will start trekking in the forest, where you will get up close and personal with wildlife, spot different bird species, listen to birds singing in tree branches, and take beautiful pictures, among other things.

After the nature walk, you will drive back to the lodge for lunch, after which you will go for an interesting Batwa cultural tour where you will be able to interact with the Batwa people who used to live in the forest, learn about their culture and way of living, listen to their ancient stories, and enjoy their traditional entertainment, among other things. After the cultural tour, you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Departure to Kigali.
On the last day of the safari, you will have breakfast at leisure, check out of the lodge, and meet up with your driver guide to start the journey back to Kigali. On the way, you will have en route lunch, and upon arrival, your driver guide will drop you off at Kigali International Airport for your departure flight or drop you off at any place of advice.
