Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Travel to Murchison falls national park Via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary
Travel to Murchison falls national park: Depending on your location, our expert driver guide will pick you up and brief you about the safari. Then, set off to Murchison Falls National Park in northwestern Uganda. As you are heading to the park, you will have a stopover on your way to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary.
On arrival, embark on rhino tracking. Ziwa rhino sanctuary is the only place in Uganda to see these endangered white rhinos. After tracking, proceed to Murchison falls national park with another stopover for a picnic lunch in Masindi town.
Continue the journey to the park. Upon arrival, drive straight to the top of the falls, where you will enjoy spectacular views of thunderous waterfalls and take impressive photos. Then after, connect to your lodge to have dinner and spend a night at Pakuba Safari Lodge (mid-range) or Para Safari Lodge – Luxury

Day 2: Morning game drive and Boat cruise
Morning Game Drive: Have an early morning breakfast, and drive to the park to look for animals you may have missed out on in the evening game drive. Expect to see animals such as elephants, Cape buffalo, Rothschild giraffes, and others. After animal viewing, drive back to the lodge for lunch and relax.
Afternoon boat cruise: In the afternoon, embark on the boat Cruise at the bottom of the Nile River, where you will cruise close to the school of hippos. On the waterbank, you can spot crocodiles, birds, and other animals. You can cruise close to the devil’s Cauldrons for a clear view and memorable photos. Then, after that, sail back on dry land to meet your driver guide and return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay as mentioned above.

Day 3: Morning game drive Transfer to Bwindi National Park
Morning Game Drive: After morning breakfast, head for a morning game drive where you will be able to watch the missed-out animals on the previous game drive. You will then transfer to Bwindi.
Bwindi National Park is home to half of the world’s remaining endangered mountain gorillas and a prime location for gorilla trekking. Arriving in the evening, check into your booked accommodation for relaxation, dinner and an overnight stay at Ichumbi Gorilla Lodge – Midrange, Mahogany Springs safari lodge -Luxury

Day 4: Gorilla Trekking Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
After an early morning breakfast at the lodge, carry your packed lunchbox and then go meet your driver guide to transfer you to park headquarters for a short briefing. After the briefing, meet the park ranger to allocate you to the assigned gorilla family.
The trekking experience can take between 1 and 7 hours, depending on the movements of gorillas. Once you’ve allocated the gorillas, you will be allowed one hour to observe their amazing behaviors and habits as well as enjoy capturing videos.
After an impressive encounter with gorillas, you will walk back to the starting point, led by the range guide, to be rewarded with a gorilla certificate. Thereafter, meet up with your driver guide to connect you to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay as above.

Day 5: Leisure at the lodge culture tour
Have breakfast at leisure as you enjoy great views of the canopy forest, various birds, and the surrounding area’s beauty. In the evening, you can choose to go for a culture tour—visit the Batwa community to enjoy listening to their story and their traditional songs and dances. Dinner and an overnight stay as above.

Day 6: Departure to Kampala or Entebbe
You will have an early breakfast, followed by checkout. Depart back to Kampala with a stop at the equator for memorable photography. Enjoy a picnic lunch. After lunch, continue your journey to Kampala and arrive at your hotel or any other convenient location.
