An 8 Days Kenya Wildlife and Uganda gorilla safari are well-designed ultimate combined safari tour packages. Leading you to visit two East African countries: Kenya, the “Heart of Africa,” and Uganda, the “Pearl of Uganda.”
In the Kenyan part, you will visit one of the world’s magical safari destinations, the Maasai Mara National Reserve. In the Ugandan part, you will visit the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, known as the world’s best safari destination to encounter the remaining half of the mountain gorillas in the wild. Also known as our closest related cousins, with whom we share 98% of DNA genes. This trip starts in Kenya and ends in Uganda.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival to Nairobi and Pickup
Start your safari with a pickup from the airport by our expert safari driver. Then, you will be transferred to your booked hotel, rest, have dinner and sleep at La Maison Royale Hotel.

Day 2: Transfer to Maasai Mara
After a morning breakfast at the hotel, transfer to Maasai Mara Reserve, passing through the vast landscape, beautiful countryside and scenic nature. On arrival at the park, check into the lodge to have a hot lunch and rest a bit.
After having lunch, you will embark on an evening game drive where you will have chances to witness the vast animals in the jungle. Back at the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay at AA Mara Lodge.
Day 4: Full-Day Game drives
Enjoy a delicious breakfast at the lodge before heading on both morning and afternoon game drives. You will be served a packed lunch from the lodge. During the full-day game exploration, expect to see large populations of animals, including the big herds of lions, leopards, elephants, the elusive cheetah, Thomson’s gazelle, wildebeest, buffaloes, impalas, Topis, spotted hyenas, zebras, baboons and the graceful giraffes.
You will end your game drive before the sun sets done. Dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 4: Hot Air Balloon Safari
Wake up have an early breakfast at the lodge before heading out on a hot air balloon tour where you expect to enjoy an aerial view of wildebeest migration crossing from Serengeti National Park in Tanzania via the Mara River. Depending on the month of visitation, the wild migration event tends to happen from July to October.
Day 5: Transfer to Entebbe
Enjoy your morning breakfast before being transferred to the airstrip for your flight to Entebbe Airstrip via Kisumu for immigration, avoiding travel via Nairobi. Depending on the time of your arrival, you can choose to connect directly to Bwindi National Park or stay a night in Entebbe at the Best Western Hotel or the Protea Hotel.
Day 6: Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park
After a relaxed breakfast at the lodge, you will set off on the journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park with a stop at the equator for memorable photography and a water experiment. Proceed to another stop in Mbarara for an en-route lunch before proceeding to Bwindi.
On arrival at the park, check into the lodge for relaxation, dinner and an overnight stay at Four Gorilla Safari Lodge.
Day 7: Gorilla trekking in Uganda’s Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

This is a day to walk into the jungle to meet up with our closest cousins. The activity starts with a briefing at the park headquarters about gorilla trekking rules and expectations. After briefing, you will be escorted by the park ranger on duty to allocate you to your assigned gorilla family. Once the gorilla family is found, trackers are given an hour to spend with them, observing their amazing behaviors and habits, feeding and playing, as well as capturing video for your future remembrance.
Day 8: Transfer to Entebbe
Enjoy a relaxed breakfast served at the lodge before saying farewell to Bwindi. If you have missed a stop at the equator. After, you will drive directly to Kampala, where you will be dropped at your hotel or at Entebbe International Airport for your flight departure. This marks the end of the Tour.
