The 6 Days Gorilla Habituation and Gorilla Trekking Safari leads you two different iconic primitive experience – gorilla habituation experience which involves in spending 4hour with fully habituated mountain gorilla family and gorilla trekking only allows one hour to spend with gorillas in their natural habitat among others.
Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
On day 1 of the 6 Days Gorilla Habituation and Gorilla Trekking Safari, after morning breakfast at your hotel, you will meet your driver guide, transfer you to Bwindi National Park – journey approximately 8 to 9-hour drive from Kampala or Entebbe. Along the way, you will have a stopover at the equator to enjoy water experiment and unforgettable photography. Proceed to another stop in Mbarara for en-route lunch. After lunch, drive straight to the park. Arrive in the evening – check into your booked lodge, rest. Dinner and overnight stay at Buhoma Haven Lodge – Midrange

Day 2: Gorilla Habituation Experience in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
On day 2 of the 6 Days Gorilla Habituation and Gorilla Trekking Safari, Gorilla Trekking; Wake up early in the morning have breakfast with your packed lunch boxes and enough drinking mineral water bottle. You will be transferred to the park headquarter for pre-gorilla habituated briefing at 8: am. After briefing, meet up with the park ranger guide to lead you into tracking trails of these gentle giants. Gorilla habituation is a full day gorilla experience which involves in skilled park rangers who accompanies you in search of habituated gorilla family through forest trails. On finding them, you will be given 4 hours to spend with them observing their amazing behaviors, habits, play, feed as well as enjoying memorable photography and video capturing. After return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Leisure at the Hotel/Lodge
On this day, you will stay at leisure at your comfortable lodge. Enjoy the unwind and fresh breathtaking adventure. You will enjoy sumptuous lunch in a beautiful dining area as you get rewarded with stunning view of the nature around. Dinner and overnight stay at above lodge.

Day 4: Transfer to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park
After enjoying your relaxed breakfast at the lodge, followed by check out and transfer to Mgahinga National Park. Arrive in time at the park, check into the lodge relax and later have lunch.
After lunch, have warm relaxation around the lodge or opt to go visit the Batwa pygmies. Dinner and overnight stay at Lake Chahafi Safari Lodge –Mid range.

Day 5: Gorilla trekking in Mgahinga Gorilla National Park
After an early breakfast, you will carry packed lunch from the lodge and meet up with your driver guide to drive you to the park headquarters for a briefing. After the briefing, you will start trekking in the jungle to look for habituated mountain gorilla family which takes about 30 minutes to 6 hours depending on where the gorillas are located because they like to move from one place to another in search of food. During gorilla trekking you will be able to view other primate species such as l’hoest monkeys, chimpanzees, black and white colobus monkeys, different plant species, birds’ species many more.
On finding the mountain gorilla family you will be allowed to spend one hour with them in their natural habitat which gives you a high opportunity to observe their habits, behaviors, feed, breastfeed, groom young ones, take photos, record the breathtaking moments for your future remembrance. After the one-hour encounter with the gentle giants hike back to the park headquarters where you will be rewarded a certificate for participating in gorilla trekking. After return to the lodge. Dinner and Overnight stay at the above lodge.
Day 6: Transfer back to Entebbe
After morning breakfast, you will wake up enjoy breakfast, followed by driving back to Entebbe with stop over at the equator for impressive photography, visit craft shops and enjoying your en- route lunch. Then after, proceed to Kampala. Upon arrival, you will be dropped off to your place of convenience.
