Uganda park entry fees -activities fees; Uganda park entry fees –activities fees are all handled by Uganda Wildlife Authority which is a government body responsible to issue out the new updates of Uganda conservation tariff and currently it issued out the tourism tariff for 2023 to 24 beginning June 2022 till June 2024. Generally , Uganda ranks with over ten outstanding national parks with fabulous activities ,attractions to be done by the tourists including ;Bwindi Impenetrable Forest national park ,Murchison Forest national park ,Kidepo Valley national park Queen Elizabeth national park ,Kibale Forest national park ,Mgahinga Forest national park , Semuliki National park , Lake Mburo national park ,Rwenzori Mountain national park ,Mount Elgon national park ,Visit the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary and other attraction to be explored on Kampala City Tour such attractions includes ;Visiting the Uganda National museum ,Namugongo martyrs shrine ,Bahai temple ,visit Kasubi tombs , Visit the torture chamber in king’s palace ,Kabaka’s lake and visiting cultural center the Ndere culture among other.
Uganda park entrance fees are paid separately from the park activities fees meaning fees are charged differently and are charged basing on personnel status such as ;The foreign nonresident ,Foreign resident and East African Members .The charges paid have validity of 24 hours and fees paid as per person per day.
Rules and Regulations for Uganda National Parks – They are set up by the government body popularly knowns ‘’UWA’’ Uganda Wildlife Authority which is responsible to conserve all the national parks and the reserves.
Firearms and ammunition are not allowed inside Ugandan national parks
Rubbish littering is not allowed in the parks
Dogs and other kinds of pets are not allowed inside Ugandan national parks
Driving into the park’s premises between 7:00pm and 7:00am is not allowed
Never attempt to disturb the wildlife by sounding them with horns.
Off driven tracks is not allowed
Campfire is excepting at designed sites
It’s good to pay attentive to instruction given by the park ranger.
Driving distance spend is limited to 40 kilometers .
Murchison Falls National Park
Murchison Falls National park is located in northwestern region of Uganda, approximately 4 to5 hours’ drive from Kampala to main destination or fly with domestic flight from Entebbe international airport with Aerolink airline to Pakuba airstrip or Chobe airstrip. The park is a home of 76 mammal species ,450 bird species, numerous stunning attractions like the famous Murchison Falls among others.

Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National park
Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National park located in southwestern region of Uganda, estimating 9 to 10 hours’ drive from Kampala or Entebbe. Alternatively, you can reach the park by domestic flight to Kihihi airfield within 1:30 hours fly, then from there, you will be picked by the safari drive to access you to the park lodge. Bwindi is popularly a home for endangered mountain gorillas and other wildlife species.

Horseback safari in Lake Mburo national park is outstanding private activity managed by Mihingo Lodge and horseback riding is one of the top done activity and activity fees are considered on time duration. However, you’re advised to book in advance to avoid disappointments. They offer a limited number of horse ride with bush breakfast minimum of 2 people. Annual park entrance fees are based on only two status Foreign residents and East African members which is applied to all protected areas for foreign residents in Uganda and East African members only but vehicle entry are paid separately;
Requirements needed;
Foreign residents require a working permits valid for one year to qualify for annual fees.
Annual park entrance is not valid for package activities like Gorilla and Chimp tracking and Mountain hiking.
