Detailed Safari Itinerary
Day 1: Rhino trekking and Transfer to Murchison falls national park
Rhino trekking and transfer to Murchison falls national park: Be ready for hotel pick up in Kampala on day 1 of 10 days Uganda safari and start your journey heading to Murchison falls national park situated in North Eastern part of Uganda. You will stopover at the Ziwa Rhino sanctuary where you will spend about 2 hours trekking endangered white rhinos in their natural habitats. After trekking Rhinos, proceed to Masindi for a lunch break before proceeding to the park where you will be welcomed on an enroute evening game drive on your way to the lodge for check in, dinner and overnight sleep.

Day 2: Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise
Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise: After an early morning breakfast on day 2 of 10 days Uganda safari, head out for a thrilling early morning game drive to spot mammals that thrill in the savanna part of the park including Lions, elephants, giraffes, Uganda kob, Hartebeests, plenty of bird species and many more. After game drive, return to the lodge for lunch then embark on an afternoon boat ride upstream towards base of the waterfalls. During the boat ride, you will spot plenty of wildlife species such and crocodiles, Hippos, and other mammals that visit the shores of the river to quench their thirst.

Day 3: Drive to Kibale forest National Park
Kibale forest national park: On day 3 of 10 days Uganda safari, have your breakfast then check out of the lodge and be driven from Murchison falls national park to Kibale forest national park. You will enjoy an enroute lunch since it’s a whole day drive and upon arrival at the park, proceed to check in your lodge for dinner and overnight sleep.

Day 4: Chimpanzee trekking and Bigodi guided nature walk
Chimpanzee trekking and bigodi walk: Arise from the comfort of your lodge as early as possible on day 4 of 10 days Uganda safari, pack all that you need during the trek and be transferred to the briefing grounds at Kanyanchu visitor’s center for a pre gorilla trekking briefing. You will be briefed about the chimpanzee trekking dos and don’ts then set off for a walk into the forest to search for these gentle giants in their natural habitats. Chimpanzee trekking such a fascinating adventure where you will be able to encounter with other primates, birds and many more. Day 5: Transfer to Semliki National Park
Visit Hot springs and night game drive: After breakfast on day 5 of 10 days Uganda safari, check out of the lodge and meet your driver for a transfer to Semliki National Park where you will explore the sempaya hot springs. Try to drop in an egg or a plantain and trust me in a few minutes it will be hard boiled and ready for consumption. After visiting the hot springs have your lunch and later in the evening enjoy an evening game drive in search of mammals that thrill in this park such as Forest hogs, Elephants, mongoose, genet. There are yet plenty of serval cats seen during night game drive and trust me Semliki national park has been ranked as the best destination for night game drives in Uganda. Day 6: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Afternoon boat cruise and evening game drive: After breakfast on day 6 of 100 days Uganda safari, check out of the lodge and meet your driver for drive to Queen Elizabeth national park. Expect to get to the park in time for lunch as you head to your lodge for check in and lunch. After lunch, you will head to the Kazinga channel for a thrilling boat cruise along the kazinga channel where you will cruise while watching lots of wildlife along the shores of the waterbodies including a huge school of hippos, and many more. After the boat cruise, embark on an evening game drive as your return to your lodge for dinner and overnight sleep.

The other population of similar lions is found in Lake Manyara national park in Tanzania. During game drive in Ishasha sector, you will spot other wildlife species including Uganda Kob and many more. Sit under the tree to enjoy your picnic lunch then exit the park and transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park where you will enjoy your dinner and have an overnight sleep.

Day 8: Gorilla trekking in Bwindi impenetrable national park

Check-in your lodge for lunch then embark on an afternoon canoe ride to see the islands. Arrival in Kampala will be late in the evening where you will be dropped off at your hotel or direct at Entebbe international airport for a flight.
