The 4 Day Lake Mburo & Gorilla trekking safari takes you to two gorgeous safari places in Uganda that is; a visit to Lake Mburo National Park for game drive viewing and Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for a gorilla trekking experience.
Lake Mburo National Park is famously known for its unique climate that greatly allows ongoing activities within and outside the park to take place. The park lies in a rain shadow area between the famous Lake Victoria and mountain Rwenzori.
Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is renowned for its excellent vast population of endangered mountain gorillas and other primates as well as its home variety of bird species.
The trip includes a combined safari activity like wildlife viewing, boat excursions, and culture or community visits.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Lake Mburo National Park
Depending on your point of location, you will be picked by our safari guide and be briefed about 4 day’s safari. You will be driven to Lake Mburo National Park passing via small towns along the Kampala –Mbarara road. Arrive in time for lunch, short relaxation as you get ready for the evening game drive.
This tour offers a great opportunity to stop at the Equator crossing for photography and some experiments for your future benefit.
Your 4 Days at Lake Mburo include a boat and walking safari, also stop at Mpambire royal drum makers for you to view how local drums are made out of trees and animal hides. Dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Morning game drive and afternoon boat excursion
After breakfast, your driver guide will drive you to the park for a game drive depending on your interests.
Gam drive in Lake Mburo National Park allows you to see herds of buffaloes, zebras, Impala, and birds among others. After the morning game drive, drive out of Lake Mburo and proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park with en-route lunch.
Arrive in the evening, and check into the lodge. Dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
Wake up early have a delicious breakfast, carry your packed lunch boxes, and be picked up by your driver guide to transfer you to the park headquarters for a briefing about gorilla trekking rules. You will be accompanied by a park ranger guide in search of gorillas. The trekking experience takes about 30 to 6 hours, depending on their movements.
Once the gorilla family you’re assigned for allocated, one hour will be given to you to spend with them. That one hour allows you to learn about the gorilla behaviors, habits, feeding play, enjoy memorable photography, and capture videos for your future remembrance. Return back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Depart back to Kampala or Entebbe
After breakfast, check out of the lodge and drive back to Kampala with stops at the Equator for future photography, visit the craft shops, and enjoy lunch. Then proceed with a drive to Kampala to be dropped off at your hotel or be dropped off at Entebbe for your departure flight.
