Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up and transfer in Jinja – En route Mabira & Ssezibwa
On day 1 of the 5 Days Uganda Mabamba, Jinja and Murchison Falls Tour, you will be welcomed and picked up by our professional driver guide from Entebbe International Airport or Kampala at your hotel. Then drive to Jinja ‘’the adventure city of Uganda’’.
The drive to Jinja involves several stopovers at beautiful tourist sites, one at Ssezibwa Falls a stunning nature and cultural spot. You will enjoy unique bird species, the thundering sound of the waterfalls and visit the cultural worship center.
After, proceed with the journey to Mabira Forest where you will participate in the adventurous zip-lining experience where the tree species, primates and bird species of the forest can be encountered.
After visiting Mabira forest, continue a drive to Jinja town for lunch and later head to visit Rippon Falls and end your first day with a boat ride. During your boat cruise, you will have a chance to see the source of the great Nile River and various historical sites as well as numerous aquatic bird species. Return to Kampala for late dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Drive to Mabamba Wetland Sanctuary
On this day, after your tasty breakfast head out for a tour at Mabamba Wetland Sanctuary where numerous water and wetland bird species like the unique shoebill storks.
After a visit to Mabamba, you will be picked up by our driver and transferred for a ferry crossing to the shores of Lake Victoria ‘’60 minute’ drive from Kampala to the Nakiwogo landing site – a ferry crossing to Buwaya Landing site and finally about 30 minutes drive to the swamp’’.
Upon arrival, board the wooden boat for a ride along Mabamba Swamp to identify some of the bird species such as the shoebill stork, African Jacana, Papyrus gonolek, Malachite kingfisher, Yellow-billed ducks and long-tailed cormorant many more.
After, you will head back for lunch. Later on in the afternoon, be transferred to the beautiful Entebbe Botanical Gardens for a chance to sightsee rare species of plants and their uses as well as numerous bird species that would have missed out at Mabamba wetland like Orange weavers among others.
You will have chances of spotting out primate species at the verdant Botanical Gardens. Return to Kampala for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park – Hike to the top of the falls
After enjoying breakfast, you will drive to north western Uganda region to visit Murchison Falls National Park. The journey starts early in the morning at around 6:00 am after breakfast.
The traveling journey to Murchison Falls National Park involves several stopovers one being at Luwero market where you can stop to buy delicious fresh fruits and plantain locally known as ‘’Gonja’’ and another at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary to see the country’s only Rhino population in the wild.
You will proceed a drive to Masindi town for lunch and after lunch, drive straight to the park entrance gate where you will be welcomed by the active olive baboons and other animals.
Drive to the top of the falls where you will spot large quantities of water violently passing through a narrow gorge of 7 meters, creating a great view of these thunderous waterfalls. Later, drive to your booked lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Morning Game drive and afternoon boat cruise
After an excellent breakfast, drive to the park for an early morning drive, where you will be able to view nocturnal animals and big cats before they return to their hideouts, animals like leopards, lions, spotted hyenas as well as the Buffaloes, Uganda kobs, waterbucks, elephants, topis, Rothschild giraffes, common elands and warthogs many others.
End the game drive by 11:00 am return to the lodge for relaxation and later have lunch.
Later, go for a boat cruise to the bottom of the fall where large schools of hippos and large basks of Nile crocodiles relax along the shores of the river and several antelopes, elephants, and buffaloes. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Return to Kampala
After breakfast, head for the last activity ‘’game drive’’ in the park offering chances of seeing other animals that you would have missed to see the previous days.
